Was there live. Dany was anxious for a second when she grabbed the slide, but it went off great. Folks weren't sure how they were going to do the ending, so the cheers started early. It was a great show to see (As they all are). Thanks, again, for the great reaction!
Yep, OG The Warning , in reference to Pau starting the song on the piano, which is how a majority of their 1st 3 albums were written. This 4th album was done more in writing sessions with other people in between touring. And yes, this Toronto show was the live debut of the song, it was the last stop on the 2024 tour. Toronto seems to get lucky with TW, live debut of this song this year, and last year they got 2 songs with lead vocals from Ale. If that show wasn't on a weeknight, I would have crossed the border and made the 2 hour drive up to Toronto to see them. I think Pau said it was the pre chorus that was from 8 years ago.
Some of Ale's most intricate playing in this song. There are videos that show her walking all over the fretboard during the bridge. Listen and youll hear it
I was in Toronto for this show. When the setlist was posted, you could hear word go through the crowd once we saw Apologize was going to be performed live for the first time. It was really cool being a part of TW history like that.
I was, too, and it was exciting to hear they were, for the first time live on this last concert of the tour, going to play it live. As Dany was introducing the song, a meaningful glance was shared between Pau and Ale which seemed to say, "Well, here goes nothing." After all, they had stressed about Dany being able to get that slide on in time and then to play with it when some of the sections of the song after didn't need the slide she was wearing.
Agree 💯%... I feel very fortunate that I got to see this live in person and was close enough to see Dany slip the slide on... coincidentally as she's singing the word "nervous".
Studio versions are always worth listening to! DPA are fully aware that they have to live with their songs for the rest of their lives. I doubt we will ever see them release a mediocre song just to fill an album, like so many bands in the past. Thanks very much Kev. ❤✌🤘⚡🔥

Bye from NZ👍👋🇳🇿🍻twa
you too, thanks Roger👍🏽👍🏽
👍👍 !!! ⚡️⚡️⚡️
The band called The Warning that I know do not have a song called "Apologise". You must have a band in England with the same name.
"Maths"? I think not! Americans, plus bilingual Mexicans who speak perfect US-English AGREE, it is "Math". Therefore, logically, #KevWasWrong
😂whatever, it’s Maths and you will never change our minds👍🏽👍🏽😂😂😂❤️
