to clear up a popular misconception about the ultramarines: theyre supposed to use axes as their main choice for melee weapons instead of the more often depicted swords. that might have led to the inclusion of the power axe in the first space marine game as the middle ground between chainsword and thunder hammer.
07:08 blue color is reserved for scriptors, red for techmarines, white for apothecaries, black for chaplains. chapter colors are sometimes identical. heraldry issues. sometimes just the shoulder pad has the special officers color. usually the shoulder pad has the chapters heraldic color and the armor has the specialist color
07:12 the roman numeral five inside the arrow of the shoulder pauldron depicts his squad number, not the the company hes assigned to. codex-compliant chapters companies use silver/white for the first, gold/yellow for the second, sanguine/red for the third, malachite/green for fourth, ebonit/black for fifth, carneol/orange for sixth, amethyst/purple for seventh, granite/grey for eight, ultramarine/blue for ninth, no heraldic color for tenth. the company color is shown on the rims of the shoulder pauldrons

So its for making more of the special organs? But why do they need to harvest them from dead marines? Cant they make more in labratories or something?
Wow i was right! xD I vaguely knew the armor needed power, so it made sense if it were the backpack :D
You know what, the Standart makes sense now that i think about it. The Chaplain Guy had a cross that also worked against the chaos marines.
Plus most of those melee weapons they have have very advanced technology and machinery especially the thunder hammer, the power axe and ChainAxe which usually used by the world eaters
oh yeah! Not to mention crazy strong or sharp materials they can probably make
I think the going back to melee weapons in Sci-Fi settings makes some sense due to advances in power armor and augmentations. It’s a bit weird but kid of makes sense when ya realize just how strong and fast Space Marines are.
True, plus they used their guns a lot more then melee anyways
Out of all the melee weapons in Warhammer I've always liked the ChainAxe a very brutal weapon.
