How would the left filter at 8:17 work if the left hand lane is also a straight lane? If you're in the left hand lane intending to go straight and left filter turns on you can't proceed and you're blocking people from turning left.
The rule about street lighting is only relevant where there are no signs. Where there is a speed sign, even if it is the black stripe sign, then the higher speed limit applies.
I'm not sure on hgv routes. But ... what would an examiner want to see? If i was an examiner, I'd probably want to take you on some narrow roundabouts to see how you manage the lanes, possibly a double-mini roundabouts. I'd also want the independent driving to check that you chose routes that complied with your height/weight restrictions. I'd also want to see you negotiate national speed limit roads, and possibly a motorway to see if you follow the rules
@InclusiveDriving thanks for the reply, yer failed test last week or garrets green on the hgv, got a last min one up Featherstone next week. Looked everywhere on TH-cam for an hgv test route but found nothing.
@@BigRed-Operator I'd just encourage you to get inside the examiners head. Every place you visit on test, ask yourself why the examiner has chosen to take you there ... what is s/he looking for?
This is the test centre I have booked for my ADI part 2 in October

You are correct. I don't think it needs to be there.
At 36:15 you have a national speed limit sign but also Street lights.
The national speed limit for any roads with Street lights is 30mph... is it not?

Does anyone want to swap a test date in late October for a September test date at featherstone?

Any hgv idea of Featherstone hgv routes. The test is there next week.
