I watched your videos throughout my study for the practical test. I didn't take any instructor but ur videos was helpful. I just pass my exam. Thank you
@@tamarabrookes3588 Oh WOW!! Well-Done Tamara and Congratulations!!! I am very happy for you!! Did the videos help you for your test? Also, remember to stay subscribed because I will teach you Advanced driving here to keep you safer out there!! Best wishes 😊
@@RioDrivingSchool straight to the point and you manage to cover the little odd bits of the routes very well, anyone doing featherstone or Lichfield, watching these videos will make your test 10 times easier i promise!
i have my test next week i feel confident and ready, but as u leave the test centre u on the 60 country lanes, do u have to do that speed as in my lessons i only go like 48 because of the bends and pot holes is that okay?
Good morning! You can drive to the road and traffic conditions. Make an effort to get the car going faster where you can, but - if the road is bad then of course drive slower and more carefully. 👍
Drop your speed until you see a repeater sign. It is better to be penalised a little for 'appropriate progress' than exceeding the speed limit (a fail).
That box junction at Hilton lane is a nightmare, every time I take my son out there’s always someone coming up on the right hand side of us as they’ve come over way too early, my son does exactly as you say ( and what his instructor says) but it appears that other road users can’t stick to the rules of the road. I’m worried he’ll be stuck in the left hand lane indicating right
If he is forced to stay in the left lane he should not indicate and should follow the road ahead. 👍 You at right- it is a nightmare, especially first thing in the morning! Always have a 'Plan B' in place. Best wishes!
I have my test in a few days at 8:10 in the morning, my last test was at 12:38. do you have any advice? Will there be much difference? I’m very nervous.
Hi Tee. Watch my top tips video here ---> th-cam.com/video/2Onnj0GhtOM/w-d-xo.html Also, if you're dealing with those traffic lights mentioned in this video then make sure you check for following traffic. Don't be afraid to simply follow the road ahead instead of turning right if another road user is making you feel nervous about positioning after the solid white line. There will potentially be a lot of traffic to deal with (school and work traffic) so stay calm and anticipate early. If you can, get practice driving in the morning around there before your big day. Good luck to you! 🙌👍
In my last test I failed for using a little of the other side of the road whilst nobody was coming, the examiner told me even though nobody is coming I still shouldn’t be doing that
You can pinch up to 50% of the other side of the road to help you see further, but you must tuck back in on your side as you approach tighter bends. As your instructor to help 🙌
Hi paul , wanted to ask if you have covered wentworth road in any of your videos? I made a serious fault there today , went into wrong lane I actually thought it was a roundabout . PS Thankyou for taking time out to make featherstone route videos.Very kind of you. I shall go through them.
I'm pretty sure I have. Coming up the hill you would have been asked to turn right but you take the second turn because the first turn is for cars to emerge out of. I often test my novice drivers here. I am sorry to hear your news. I'll try to find a video or mock test with it in and let you know.
This was my test route and I passed with 4 minors.Your videos really helped and thank you very much.
That's brilliant news!! This has made my day. I'm so happy you passed and found my video useful. 👍🙌👏👏👏👏👏

Do any of the tests turn right or are they all left turn from the test centre?
Hi Craig, tests do go right as well. Good observation! We haven't uploaded more test route demos yet; good luck with your preparations and test!
Hey 👋 What time is best for test sir ?
Friday mornings - it's a ghost town!! Other than that I'd aim for 11am ish after the school-runs and daily commutes 👍
