My friend has a richer complexion and it does not work at all on her. The second palette is a duplicate of existing finishing powders just placed in the compact. Still a fail! Thanks for the info!

Which palette doesn't work on your friend? Volume II is the palette with existing finishing powders and medium-tan. Volume III is all brand new shades to my knowledge with medium deep-deep tones. Victoria James, The Slapp App, and maimaimaired are TH-camrs with richer complexion who seem to like Volume III.

Thank you for the review! I fee like there is such a huge jump between 2 and 3; 2 is too light for me but 3 is too dark 😭😭😭
Hourglass just isn’t for all the gals/pals, ya know?
I agree and think Hourglass did a nice job with these new Ambient Powder palettes. Given that the other new palettes have micro-glitters throughout them (especially the lighter one), I find these finishing powders to be beautiful. I do hope that darker complexions can find good use with the darkest palette. There seem to be good shade variances within all three of these new palettes. I am excited about these now!

Yes! Was a big jump, i feel like if they make the bronzer darker in the medium palette would work amazing for many more ppl 💖

Thank you for showing me how to use the pallet I went to go buy the pallet and I had no clue on how do use it. I really appreciate your knowledge. It really made a lot of sense. I am dark complected just similar to your color and made lotta sense on how you were using it, I thought I had to go and return the pallet back and get my money back but now that I have the knowledge on how to use these pallets, I am going to go and buy the second pallet to make use of the other pallet that you were using I really appreciate your knowledge. Please keep giving us, these hints, they are very knowledgeable to us women or people or at least me that go out and purchase product and want to look fabulous. I love both hourglass palettes I bought universe unlock and volume 3 and it looks great on me. I use the unl9ck differently then intended.

Beautifull review, I got the pallet and it’s beautiful on my skin tone , and for my surprise I was able to sculpt with it . I’m a medium deep or dark or deep … each brand loves to categorise people of colour differently

Gifted volume one to my Granddaughter couldn't stand all the shimmer even on her beautiful 9yrold face ruined by all the glitter. Mood exposure blush beyond beautiful and nude bronzer no shimmer in either one.

Volume 3 is too dark for you. You used the lightest shade in 3 as a bronzer the lightest is fir hilighting, the second for all over and the third is for bronzing.
