Wattles! I love that your wrapping up loose ends before the update! I had an idea of your 'incident spot'. You could make it a pond with lilly pads and cobble rocks as stepping stones to connect your paths. And you'll be able to keep the hole. 😊
Just started a survival world today in 1.20.6. That’s all I did today, and I have a full set of enchanted diamond armor and a sword and pickaxe. Still working on getting mending and getting all the other diamond tools. This video and your other about starting a new world gave me motivation to. Thanks a lot, and keep up the great and informative videos! :)
The first thing that I am doing the day before the update release is backing up my Survival World, loading it into Amulet, then purging a bunch of chunks that I explored in 1.20 while looking for structures that contained Pottery Shards, Armor Trims, and Sniffer Eggs. That way I can explore that terrain again for Trial Chambers.
@@Soul_Rebel77 There is a program called Amulet that lets you reset chunks on Bedrock Edition worlds if you are playing on a PC. For Bedrock players on mobile devices or console players, I do not know of any way to do it.
In my world, I use Andesite and moss blocks with glow lichen on them for paths. I also include stairs periodically and fill them with water to resemble puddles.
I'm building a massive bamboo farm. Pre 1.21 stick trades were op but tedious to make the bamboo into sticks. With the crafter that trade just became 5000x more efficient and easy.
These chambers are a God send, I am currently planning a mega build and it requires a ton of copper. I’m talking thousands of copper blocks. This is amazing.
Wattles, it's just... ur intro's i just love them man, keep it up. Damn i haven't felt that queezy feeling in a while. It's just that, that sheer moment of *"out-of-the-pocket"* audio content that is making me smile from ear to ear, *"good morning, good morning, beautiful"* it's just something about how you said that, that i can't stop smiling over. 😂😂😂
First thing I do is make a pumpkin pie machine. I mostly eat porkchops, it would just be cool to show someone a double chest of pumpkin pie and say I crafted none of it.
I remember that, when you did the April fools snapshot joke for 1.20 update, there was a copper doors and other copper variants, and then Mojang added this into Vanilla for 1.21 update. I really hope that we see same thing again, when we get close to 1.22 update as well, when you did the April fools joke again :)
If you don't want to fill in the creeper hole with dirt, then the only thing I can think of is to build a small bridge over it. Maybe turn the hole into a pond while you're at it.
5:16 so in that regard we are the same. I also preffer to either preserve structures(and terrain too actually)... or expand on them. (This is why I so much hate the fact that the only reliable ways to get prismarin is either destroying underwater monument or making guardians farm(so basically exploiting/abusing their spawning mechanic)). Universal item for repairing items... that's interesting idea but what that could be and where it could be find? (maybe the End? Like loot in end cities)
One other project that I'm working on in Minecraft which is why I'm diamond farming, I am making a room full of diamond armor representative of each armor trim so there's a room in my underground enchantment area which has about 18 armor stands ready for armor to be put on. So I have one set for each armor trim inclusive of the other two that will be added to this update. So what I'm trying to do is have a set for all of the armor trims and I can just switch out based on what I want maybe I want to switch up my look I can do that. And I won't ever have to necessarily clone another armor trim ever again unless I want to change the color. So I need a lot of diamonds I counted up about 48 blocks. So I've just been mining like crazy and then I need a supply for the armour trims themselves. And then I can choose to turn some of them netherite when I do change my look if I want and then enchant those it's all up to me. It's basically a closet with different looks and I can mix and match
Wattles… I haven’t watched you (I’ve been watching since 2020) or played Minecraft in forever so to prepare for the update, I started a new world and will start watching you again 🙏
I have an idea and I don't have the skill or patience to do it, but I would love to see you do a video where you restore/rebuild an ancient city! You're an incredible builder
How will this effect my world I’ve been playing on? Will it update with a trial chamber outside of the areas ive already explored? or will i have to remake 😭
I love using mcaselector to clear every chunk that was loaded for less than 5 minutes. It gets rid of everything that I only saw enough to explore, but not interact with much.
My husband and I have a seed ready and everything set we write down where important things are in the seed so we don’t get discouraged and get ready to play. Raiding villages and getting Dripstone is first priority
To prepare for 1.21 I'm making multiple villager breeders! One for each villager type! So far I just need Desert, Swamp and Jungle villagers and then my mega-breeder will be finished!! I used your breeder design and every one matches the blocks in the biome of that villager (except so far plains, who has cherry themed stuff bc its in a cherry biome, and the snowy villagers who have stone bricks).
For anyone on bedrock that wants to reset chunks, Cyber Media has a video titled "How to reset chunks in Minecraft world with Amulet." Followed his instructions and was able to sort out a few other things i messed up in my world as aswell as prepare chunks for 1.21.
@@wattlesplays I am kind of attached to my world right now. I love the builds in it so I am hoping to continue in here but I love exploring so deleting chunks is the only way to keep it fresh or go out 10000 blocks like I am now. :/
I’m mostly just trying to get as many resources as I can before the update hits using a (not so) tiny duplication glitch I found in with the pots from the trial chambers. If you break the pot using your fist you can place it back down to get more loot out of it by breaking it again. Just make sure you don’t accidentally interact with the pot or shatter it otherwise it’s worthless (btw I don’t know if the glitch works on Java or not lol)
Creating a Creative copy, locating a trial chamber, and building a base near it is what I'll be doing when the update drops =D As well as filling my farms and sorters with crafters Edit: or buy a locator map, of course Second edit: also stocking up on honeycomb, spare axes, and any tuff from mining
One thing I'm doing to prepare for 1.21. get the potion ingredients ready. So I was just looking for diamonds for my Armor trims and I stumbled upon a abandoned mineshaft and I realized "hey I'm going to need webs!" So I have a supply for weaving. I already had a supply of slime blocks cuz I have been fighting a lot of slimes from way back. The Stone is easy to obtain for the potion of infesting. So since I'm already underground I just grabbed 64 Stone. So the only thing I need is the breeze rods so we wait on that but in the meantime I'm diamond farming
I have an ongoing project of finding the rib and silence armor trims, I just need these 2 trims to complete the set before updating to 1.21. Also, I will wait a couple months before updating to 1.21 so that Mojang has a chance to fix bugs associated with the new 1.21 updates. Folks, there will be bugs as most previous updates all have bugs, it takes time to patch out.
Been hoarding copper for awhile hoping for new blocks and have two double chests worth of both blocks and ingots. 😅 Maybe a pond with lilly pads as a bridge for the Incident site.
I’m probably starting a new world as I’m not too far into my world…. Maybe. I kinda do like my world. I have a villager breeder (bedrock version) that not only works as a trading hall, but also keeps the cats from dying! I have also located a couple of different villages and plan to try to get some new villagers from different biomes.
First things first I’m making the raid farm with 4 pillager captain spawners able to collect the ominous bottles and then make a new cartrographer villager
I got a new gaming PC, so I'm gonna transfer my console world to it. Then I can trim chunks that have been loaded but not really explored for the new 1.21 update. Also, I'm finishing my monolith base at spawn before the update and transfer.
In my worlds I always run a filter chunk "Inhabited time < 5 minutes" in MCA Selector to select all the chunks I haven't spent five minutes or more in, then after checking those against my list of important places and obvious paths (eg end portals, nether tracks) and delete them. It's amazing how many places near home you've never set foot in, but the regions are saved. My saves immediately before an update are so much smaller than the saves just before them It bit me once, one of my worlds has my base on an island that I have flattened. Just to the north of the island was deep ocean with a ocean monument in it. I could hear the guardians zapping squid from my bedroom. But the ocean update turned it into a coral filled tropical ocean. So I had to go back to the save before the trimmed one, not delete the ocean monument's chunk or the 8 around it. So there's coral with a deep bit and an ocean monument now
I'm collecting lots and lots of tuff for the new blocks while also mining the almost double chest of copper ore I have had stored away for over a year now lol
Hold on. If the heavy core is isnanely dense, then the mace taking damage would be far more liekly to be the breeze rod handle cracking. So it actually stands to reason that the breeze rod would be the repair material.
Going to attempt to reset all the chucks surrounding my island before the update after I’m gonna make portals to all the new parts after upgrading a new cartographer
You know another project I need to work on before 1.21, so I have been trying to do more automated doors. I actually got them started pretty early on but I'm running into a problem with one of mine. So I made automatic doors for my enchanting room area so every single door uses calibrated sculk sensors and each one requires a different input to open the doors. I even have a trap doors leading down to the enchantment room those also use calibrated sculk sensors. All you have to do is move or jump. Like for example the armor trim room needs you to use an item. And the entrance to the enchantment room you need to hit an entity I purposely left an armor stand beside it so I could just hit that instead of my cured villagers. I even made my very own foxy cove for my foxes long ago and I named every one of them all variations of foxy in five nights at Freddy's. And the door is supposed to open with sticky pistons but I wanted it to use the calibrated sculk sensor so that when you eat, it opens. But I'm running into some glitch cuz it's not working the way I want it. So I need to figure out how to do those type of doors. Maybe there are some tutorials on how to make the best type of piston door with calibrated sculk sensor

Bedrock Edition guide series please...
Agreed! I watched wattles so much that I accidentally drowned from trying to use a door underwater!
yeah i want that too but he basically covers both versions of the game in this guide so its not necessary
but hopefully one day he'll do it if he want to
There’s some other youtuber who does it I cant remember his name but just look up minecraft bedrock guide
one day!
@@wattlesplaysdidn’t you already do something like it before? I think you based in a jungle, with a house on short pillars, but it was so long ago…
I will update my current world.
And as soon as the update hits, I will raid a bunch of Trial Chambers until I get a Mace!
I will be raiding a Woodland mansion (my first ever) for the totems. Then do multiple raids to get a minimum of 4 Totems. Once the update drops I'm searching for a mace. Yeah im kinda new to Minecraft Survival, only had 3 worlds before this one im on right now and in all my past world ive never successfully won a Raid. I didnt even know bout it until i entered a village and started fighting these gray men. Now im in a world thats 3months old and only died 3 times. Ive raided multiple outposts, 3 Fortresses, 3 Monuments and now going to the Woodland mansion. Ive been taking tips from eyecraftmc and the only times ive died was from lava twice and afk. Im only Normal mode tho since its kinda my first survival world taken seriously.
Are villagers really safe when you lock them in? Aren't vexes still gonna get them?
I will make a new world.I love starting fresh.Itching already!!!
1 tick kelp farm with smokers to the auto crafter for auto kelp blocks!
I'm building my very own village in preparation for 1.21 so i can get a map that leads me to a trial chambers. A bit over kill I know but I don't care and it looks amazing
Episode of what? Wait.. Do you have a series of a letsplay world?
