Natty & Nan,, What a fantastic blog you have done... I have dived for nearly 50 years & spend a lot of time in Thailand... & have only ever met 1 Thai lady diver... in Australia diving... The saying as we know Thai & water don't mix... meaning Thai only go beach not go in... So how brave are you to get in the water with sharks etc & show the Thai people is absolutely fantastic.. Khun Popeye great Job... was very surprised you did it ... BEST report ever done....
If you like scuba diving you need to schedule a trip to Australia and dive the Great Barrier Reef. It's the ultimate destination for divers. I went a few years ago and spent two days diving. It is expensive but well worth it. I have very fond memories that I will take to the grave with me. I'm turning 75 in June and if I can afford to do it again I will. Maybe on my 75'th birthday. What more could you ask for.
Totally agree, you cannot compare an aquarium to the Great Barrier Reef. I've dived the reef off of Cairns and Port Douglass quite a few times and it's definitely the best dive site in the World barr none

What a great vid. Loved it completely. I have done a great amount of scuba here in south africa. We have a place south of Durban called raggie cave where you can dive with plenty raggies. Scuba is really a wonderful pastime and you really are in a different world. Natty and Nan well done and I really look forward to seeing you work together on more adventures. ..and I'd like to have a story about Popeye. Looks as if he had an interesting life. For example the two hearing aids he seems to wear. Does it come from diving? What was his diving job before BKK Aquarium.
Popeye is a really good man and is pro conservation on saving sharks and the worlds oceans. And teaching the importance of ocean conservation and how important it truly is to keep our oceans clean and not overfishing. Hate to say it but big fisheries that rape the ocean's are the one"s that should be held accountable. But GREED superseeds the reality of sustainability in over fishing. Terrible for a large part of humanities complete irresponsibility.
