Hope you guys are doing well. Today I want to share my honest opinion about the Yanky Twist and decide if it's worth the money and the hype. Hope you find it helpful.

I just caved in and bought a 1b kit 😂 They sent an email saying it was restocked & gave 30% coupon. I bought long 16” for $175, plan on steaming/dipping some of the ends for a more flowing effect.
Totally using your video for the take-down, the key is to braid NEAT on blowdried hair, no “borrowing” too much hair as you braid down, use blue magic or hemp grease on the ends! Def getting my moneys worth. This is like a $400+ install from a braider

I’m 3 months in. I know nasty. My knew lot have arrived going to put them in today. The best crochet ever.
Lolol..just be careful that you don't ruin your natural hair in the process. 3 months can cause a lot of damage like matting, breaking etc

GIRL I DO 4 MONTHS. AS LONG AS YOURE WASHING 2/3 weeks after, oil message every day or every other day You’re great. My secret to growing my hair past my chest. Boo do you. Our hair is built to last styles and remember we are plants. You scalp is a garden. Leaving my hair “Dirty” works for me. When it seems dry I rub quality oil on the hair (Rosemary Mint does it/ Mix with whatever works for you). And enjoy your healthy hair.

Appreciate this because I’ve been so in love with the look for months now but that price- oof! But this ringing endorsement is gonna have me put it right at the top of my Xmas list (still a poor student lol)
It’s gorgeous hair.
Got hair, YES worth it, Love it and will buy again. Only issue I have is (maybe I'm wrapping it wrong at night) but the ends seem to curl or knot on ends. Easy fix for me was to crochet the hair onto a wig cap (I'll wear later)- where it seems to stay the same as when first bought (the way yours look in this video). Maybe someone can advise on preventing the ends not staying the same.
Glad you like the hair. It's my fave. Tbh....I am not as disciplined as I should be with covering my hair at nights but I still didn't experience knots at the ends. If I saw any one off defects I just snit it off and keep it pushing. 🙂
So there is 2 cons, 1. its expensive to be synthetic and 2. it snags.
I would like to see the " Takedown" of this hair, what it looks like after taking its down and does the braid "still" looks like you installed it,( after all for the "price" of it, "quality"of the hair which I'm assuming its different than other synthetic hair🤷🏻♀️) and can be "Reusable "?

Interesting that the hair has been available for Many years - but only a few comments; only a few people/sponsored reviewing the hair. My issue is with the ombre - the Harsh black 1/2 way down the strand versus (my personal preference) the black just being at the root. Also the springy-ness makes it not lie in place or stick out in areas. BUT ... younger women than myself probably wear it longer and know how to style it for better results!

Thanks for this update. Im tired of waiting on them to restock and when they restock its sold out faster than one can purchase. They should develop a pay deposit system so customers are guarenteed to receive the product when its available. Im going to find a competitor until they get their surplus in order.
True. You should email them your suggestions.
When you do find comparable hair can you come back and share. I’ve been waiting too. They don’t send out emails or respond to messages to update on when stock will be available which makes me apprehensive to purchase. Seems like they are only sending hair to influencers.
I heard from them this morning via email she said they will restock Tuesday. She didn’t say if that’s for all colors though I only asked about ginger.

Is this hair sprayed with the same agents as other synthetic hair? I’m very allergic to braiding hair or what’s sprayed on it and I don’t want to spend this kind of money on synthetic hair that’s going to break me out the same way.
Hi. Unfortunately I cannot answer that question. You would have to reach out to the company crochetbraidsplus to get that information. You probably could wash the hair before installing to see if that helps.
I wash all my hair in Apple Cider vinegar as I also have the same issues. Not severe reactions but maybe moderate. The ACV rinse helps a lot! I even use it on my braiding hair for my cornrows.
It's hand twisted they are tiny twists that's why it's expensive but I have washed and reused it twice and it stays in perfectly.also went swimming in yanky twists

Yes they are sold out of most colors rn but I believe you can enter your email to be notified when it's back in stock.
They are ALWAYS sold out. Even when they restock, they're sold out again within a few days!

If you like bigger than average hair, then you can get more and be just fine because it's literally weightless.

See all my followup videos. I have used it twice and did a video removing it to reuse it a third time so resoundingly absolutely.
