You forgot to mention the Custodes somewhat strong opinion toward Magus after he tore the Webway a new one and caused most of the 10,000 to die.

Isn’t it heavily implied that conversation never happened? That it was basically Magnus just coming to grips with his choices and needing to “let go” to fully embrace Chaos.
@@FluffiestHamster No it was supposed to be vague. So if you want it to be a delusion then it can be but I personally think it happened. The same thing was done with Konrad talking to the Emperor, we don't know if it was actually the Emperor or just a hallucination and we never will.
Video idea what if the traitors fell to different gods, like Angron to Nurgle, Fulgrim to Khorne, Perturabo to tzeentch, etc. By extension which one might be more powerful or just funny. A further extention could be what loyalist legion would be scariest with a particular god like the dark angels to slaneesh or some shit lol.
The implication of Magnus falling to Slaneesh makes me worried about books he had been reading….

@@Lazorvictory depends on the foe. he beat magnus only because he had some SoS by him dampening his otherwise lethal potential and needed to be f*cking resurrected(again) during his encounter with mortarion. yes, he's a primarch, but his strenght is logistics not battle
@@matteocdt5214 Logistics is super important, you can win as many battles as you want but if your army runs out of steam, you're toast. Case in point, Hannibal Barca, he won most of his battles, but he lost the war, and Carthage.

Imho Leman and Valdor's relationship is probably the best subtle way to show off how much of Leman is a facade of his own choosing in the entire setting.
You have the absolute pinnacle of intelligence and philosophical and historical knowledge the Emperor could create in Valdor ( and all the Custodes really) and The Barbarian Wolf King is the guy he Enjoys talking philosophy with. That speaks volumes.
Its revealling that Valdor admits to himself that he likes Russ (read 2 Metapysical blades). I think only Sanguinius and Dorn were held in similar regard
Valdor’s reaction to Dorn showing up during the fight to get to the Emperor was a great part of End and the Death part 3.

I love that Magnus was seemingly nervous so was like "I back the gold" when he had to pass a security checkpoint.

Here's some to consider:
What if all of the Primarchs (save Alpharius because he landed on Terra) somehow died before the Imperium discovered them?
If any one Loyalist and Traitor Primarch switched sides for the Horus Heresy, who would you choose for the best outcome for either the Loyalists, or the Traitors?
What if the Silent King never got rid of his Command Protocols and took (almost) all the Necrons with him out of the galaxy to perhaps find a new and better one and come across the Tyranids?
What if the Great Crusade had all the Primarchs and none turned Traitor, but there were no Astartes?
What if the Beast Orks succeeded in defeating the Imperium?
What if the Raptor Project succeeded/was never sabotaged?

@EricSoldadito The thing with Lorgar is that he never wanted to be a warmonger general like his brothers. He hated confrontation because he clung to his “What if I'm wrong” belief. However, when he got his shit straight he can easily be just as strong as his brothers because he is a primarch (of course not top-tier strong). To me, this aspect of his character is what makes him interesting.
The interaction between Sangunius, Dorn, Vulcan, and Valdor just befote the Emperor leavea the throne ine end and the death vol 1 is one of the best examples of where the Custodes stand in relation to the primarchs. They are seperate tech trees but both mega high level.

Sanguinius and the Custodes, in particular Valdor, really respected eachother and Sanguinius even called Valdor his brother. Iirc Valdor replied something along the line with, stop being so soppy about it, I like you too a bit.

A video about, what if there were no loyalist elements in the traitor legions ,this would also count for omegon and magnus. So there would be no need for the culling at isthvaan and weakening of the traitor forces.. this would be very intresting to see what all the effects would be on the succes of the heresy.

2. What are each of the factions' opinions on Custodians?

A minor idea: how much would’ve changed if the Butchers Nails only worked halfway? Like half the times he’s the roided up rage monster we all know, and the other half the time he’s the empath he was supposed to be. A Bruce Banner situation, or a Coin Toss on whether he’s playing as a Barbarian or a Paladin today if you will.

5:35 This contradicts what Warrior Tier's 2 hour Angron piece says about this scene.
I don't think the Emperor was physically ever near Angron. The Emperor, based on that 2 hour graphic novel, only showed to Angron psychically.
Angron later refers to the Emperor as "paper-emperor" and detested the fact that the Emperor never showed up to see him.
He stabbed and insta-killed the Custodian with their own spear due to the rage of being teleported away from his gladiator brothers and sisters.
@majorkill A video on each of the primarch’s favourite food would be cool. Also a video on how each of the pirmarch’s would react to being implanted with the butcher’s nails would be cool as well.

I get a great feeling of sadness whenever I hear about a Space Marine or Custodian just getting killed simply to convey the power of something or someone else. I keep thinking about the hundreds of years of experience, knowledge, and capability within a flash just erased. I can't imagine how much pain and rage a Space Marine and Custodian would feel when one of their comrades are killed; especially for the Custodians, because there are so few. Just imagine the impact you already have when a family member dies, it is so painful that even stoic people find it hard to control their emotions even if for just a moment. Now imagine if your brother (or in some Custodian's cases, sister) that you have fought alongside, trained with, and have known for dozens upon dozens to even hundreds of years gets killed before your very eyes? I could imagine holding back on the enemy who did so would be terribly difficult. Though in those hundreds of years of life, they likely got a lot more used to and comfortable with death. It really does showcase the level of control these characters have to not lash out in a moment of extreme anger towards those that have wronged them. But I also do quite enjoy when they do.

He was chosen by the higher up custodes because he pretty much hated primarchs. But over the course of their interactions it goes from

The power pack on his back shorted out and died. The warrior himself went into convulsions. Eyes that had so briefly cleared now rolled back into his broken head
The High Lords should have a special Space Marine Chapter tasked with killing the Custodes.

hey i recently reread the final siege of terra book and while they where talking about the dark king and how he would basically emerge through the destruction of humanity just like slaanesh was birthed through the downfall of the eldar which got me thinking if maybe the other chaos god where created through the fall of another galaxy spanning empire like for example the old ones which i think would be ideal for tzeentch because the old ones where the masters of sorcery and psychic powers and tzeentch is i think said to be the oldest. for the other two i have no idea but mayve someone else can think of something
Didn't the Custodes who witnessed Guilliman in combat confusingly wonder how in the heck they were suppose to deal with him, should he have ever been proven to be a traitor?
