Crazy that with those numbers he’s still unselfish and does the teamplay most of the time. Most of his points are earned after rebounds or 1v1 play. Assists which are turning to 3’s.That understanding of teammates and reading gameplay for a big man is stunning. Sabas 💪🇱🇹

Not a Kings fan, but those are assists. I saw that he was #1 in triple doubles this season on statmuse, so i was curious to see a highlight of the guy. Now, you can maybe argue that most of these assists aren't as spectacular as the ones we usually see from the likes of Doncic or Jokic. (Or NBA legend Magic Johnson comes to mind). But they're still assists. He's very good at rebounding. He and Fox are a great duo but they need to change their roster.
Because no matter how efficient they are, basketball is not a two player game...The rest of the team is just not good enough.
If we're going to bitch about how Sabonis gets his triple doubles, we might as well do the same for Westbrook. The guy has 198 triple doubles. But the vast majority of his triple doubles are "uncontested rebounds". His teammates used to let him statpad like crazy, letting him get rebounds he wasn't supposed to take. Many of his assists were forced. Now he has way more problems and difficulties putting up insane stats ever since he changed teams.

Agreed. All these comments don't understand, Sabonis is the focal person DHO while in most other teams, it is not the case. It's the Westbrook statpadding situation again. Handoffs, unlike passes, do not create a a lot of opportunity to score off the assist. Boxscore watches should watch the game instead.
