At 2:35 wouldn’t the current go in the opposite direction to try and bring back the flux since opposites attract? And vice versa for magnetic flux increasing?

Wouldn't you need to factor in the number of turns on the coil and multiply it by delta phi over delta t? Also, don't you need to multiply area and magnetic field average by cosine of the angle normal to the magnetic field? Are they not significant enough to matter in all calculations or is this just supposed to be a simplified explanation?

there is no winding, do you use mass in si units & flux for
    power of magnet?

i have a problem with calculating the induced emf in a conductor ,usually when the magnetic field is not uniforme every section has it own flux so it would have a different induced emf . I did have an idea to solve it i want to know if it is true . i take every section as a conductor with a thickness dh than calculate it resistance than i use ohm's law to calculate the induced courant that flow in this section
using the emf and the resistance of that section than i do sum the induced courant in every section so i get the total induced courant than i multiply it by the resistance of the conductor so i get the emf

Wait, I got confused at the railgun part. When you removed the field you said it would generate a current inorder to counter act that change, but why will the current go clockwise? What if it goes anti-clockwise? Wouldn't you have a raingun that shoots backwards?
