I was you last QSO. KF5RY. It was KH1 to KH1. I was using the whip and taking a walk around my neighborhood. Such a fun radio.
Also - CW operators allow bugs. Don’t stress too hard about spacing 😂.
It gets better the longer you do it.

Such a cool little rig. I did figure out how to “narrow” my receive as well as turn up my side tone volume during this activation which made a massive difference for me.
The secret is not being up against them, but on them. SOTA for the propagation win!! 😎 Keep up the good work.

@@NsixVHF haha nice! Yeah your call is a great one for CW copy practice as a new operator for whatever reason I struggle with 6, V, and H! I know other people struggle with F too! But I got you the second time! 😆 it really is a great call sign! Hope for many more QSOs with you!
@@Utahforrest Yeah, my call totally sucks on CW! hahaha. I got it because I used to be hot and heavy into VHF contesting. My old call was a bit better on CW (N6RPL). 73 de N6VHF
Had the same problem at Yosemite. Surrounded on three sides by 1000 foot walls. I need to get a new portable speaker.
The round anker speaker rocks. Really dislike my JBL speaker personally. Oh man. I’d love to go hit Yosemite!
