I think the offseason would have been different if we hadn't made a deep run. Made it look better than it was. I think the playmaker investment will pay off, and later in the year I expect Bynes to be in a really good place, and Sexton too. I was hoping Henry would lead the way early, and we haven't even gotten him over 100 yards between two games. These opponents have been hard through and they both had good trench advantages. I think certain teams will matchup very well against us until I can find a couple more OL/DL pieces.

I’m not sure you have a slider problem it’s morale. Morale makes a huge difference in gameplay. When you have a nice win streak later in the season and rolling gameplay becomes easier. Now when everyone has a 50 morale at the beginning of the season games are a lot tougher.
In order to keep it realistic I think replacing Malik Willis has to come to mind, good playoff run aside this is his third season now and he’s still turnover prone, not to mention he’s not adding much in the running game, which is one of the only reasons he was an intriguing prospect to begin with
hes gonna do this no matter the QB bc its simply him. theres certain game mechanics he chooses to ignore (like sprinting every play w the qb) that sets him back
Think when you play madden even in a sim like mindset, you gotta account for madden INTs being a thing. Cane certainly makes bad reads at times but malik willis (the madden player, not cane) played reallllly well in terms of his skillset development plus cane had a real good stretch. The INT in this game was just getting hit as he threw and it happens. If madden was making malik throw ducks with no pressure or stupid inaccurate passes thats one thing but cane knows when he threw a pick vs when "malik" threw it.

we need to consider how valuable malik speed really is to this offense cause his peak doesn't seem very high when it comes to throwing the ball. And if this is realistic, any QB throwing 20 ints a year would be replaced no matter how far they get in the playoffs. And no if you go and watch many of those ints weren't canes fault and his big arm is useless when he can never throw it deep accurately.
Remember a handful of years ago when the titans made the conference championship out of nowhere and immediately regressed? That’s us this year. Cane acted like last year wasn’t luck to the nth degree. We got greedy and didn’t make the moves we needed to. Our boys in the trenches are still not good enough.
henry always sucks when you use power running plays funny enough. the best way to use him in madden is to get him to the edge bc of his stiff arm attribute. you literally truck all dbs and you can stiff arm most linebackers
Run defense struggling. O-Line is struggling to block whether its a run or a pass. This team needs to figure something out on both sides of the football
That run defense is strangely bad. So is the O-line, so is the receivers' blocking. Saxton looked completely lost. Tough to put your finger on what's exactly wrong with that team.
need to fire d-coordinator and start implementing more 4-3 into the defense and just make the move next year. Players are suited for a 4-3 and having the edge players with their hand in the dirt helps them not get blown off the line and it moves the interior players more inside so big holes right up the middle are harder to create. Also helps the pass coverage over the middle because there will be less plays with the edges dropping back or playing man on a tight end.
I think a way to help run defense is calling more run blitz plays such as Sting PInch in 3-4 formations or just any man blitz that sends the inside backer to shoot the gap up the middle.
I am not surprised that the O-Line needs some work to help Herny make some good gains, run defense needs to make changes and the defence needs some fast corners and safeties that are playmakers
The defense doesn't necessarily need a faster secondary. If you get no pass rush and get gouged up the middle by runs, the secondary is the last place to blame. The front 7 is the problem with the defense, once there's some pressure the DBs can actually do their jobs.
One more loss and you need to consider fully committing to the rebuild, and that would include looking to replace Malik Willis. Starting slow and fighting to barely make the playoffs is never a successful way to build a team, and while there's 15 more games left, the offense just looks bad, and the run defense looks worse. Right now you have a team that's confused about whether they want to rebuild or try to get Derrick Henry a ring, and with how the team is playing, keeping Henry is doing a disservice to him.
Need to build through the draft and use cap space a bit smarter, I would trade derrick Henry and build draft capital, a franchise qb is what's most important, along with a pass rush, and this titans team are lacking both right now

I think the big problem is that the offensive line woes are already being addressed, the problem is that the players are two or three years away from being where they need to be now. Have a team that both needs time to develop with the young players at wide receiver and offensive line and a team that is extremely veteran and needs to win now at running back and across the defense. I really look forward to what these wide receivers can become, but the problem is that right now Malik Willis needs them to perform in order for him to continue developing as a quarterback. Malik Willis isn't getting any younger and if the offensive line can't block for him to run a functional offense then he won't ever develop. The Titans don't have the wide receivers now to win shootouts every week. Especially in clear passing situations, that left side is just hemorrhaging pressure.
I rarely ever use PA passes since most of the time you have less time to scan the field and makes sacks easier for the defense. I never call PA bootlegs.
Tbh I think Samuel being out injured has contributed being blown out these first two games other than that I believe that the two priorities for the team is Offensive Tackle and Guard and possibly needing to sign someone in free agency and draft for those, other than that maybe Willis needs some extra reps in Practice if possible because with his receiving options he should be getting at least 3 TDs a game

In the first two games of the third season, with Willis as QB, your "young mobile QB" has carried the ball for six rush attempts, thrown four interceptions, and been sacked ten times. If he's so valuable being mobile, why so few rushing attempts? Why so many sacks? It's a given that making accurate throws is a challenge for this QB, but where has his mobility been a blessing? Willis, like most QB's, is most accurate in the short passing game yet the playbook (scheme) is filled with deep, vertical pass plays.

As always love the series. Has Malik Willis really earned a second contract at this point? Does he really elevate the rest of the team enough to warrant a typical QB cap hit? If he doesn't look to get his next contract, his replacement has to be at least some level of priority in the next couple of seasons. This is the make or break season for Willis. Might want to scout some QBs for next year.
OL/DL always needs improvement and is a place to look to but no matter what: This team needs a more accurate passer than Malik Willis, upside be damned. 41 picks in your first two seasons is unacceptable.
Willis and the ILBs are by far the weakest links of this team. Willis just isn't accurate without a good pocket and the ILBs miss more tackles than they make
I said it a couple of times last year and I’ll say it again. You should really look at trading Henry for picks this offseason. He’s like 30 and is gonna get worse and this isn’t a very good team

Pat Ricard with five pancakes and making that defensive line look WEAK. The way the Ravens dominated both sides of the line of scrimmage was intimidating to say the least. Quite frankly it doesn't matter how well this team progresses this year, you don't want to see the Ravens in the playoffs. Their strengths completely exploit the ways in which the Titans team as constructed is weak.
This team just isn’t good in the trenches and it shows. The OL is really poor and you have to run the ball effectively to make this offense work and take pressure off Willis. And the defense. Idk man. Blow up the front 7. Outside of Riddick, what you have doesn’t work and hasn’t for years
My man if your ever against a run heavy team just run basic cover 3. I’m not sure why exactly but in madden specifically it’s by far the best to stop the run it just gets your linebackers in the right spot almost everytime. Your killing yourself by bringing them to the line ironically it’s the worst thing you can do in madden for the run, never blitz everyone is always out of position unless you get lucky.

As always love the series. Has Malik Willis really earned a second contract at this point? Does he really elevate the rest of the team enough to warrant a typical QB cap hit? If he doesn't look to get his next contract, his replacement has to be at least some level of priority in the next couple of seasons.
This is the make or break season for Willis. Might want to scout some QBs for next year.
He has not earned it. Minus that stretch into the playoffs last year. He's got like 38 picks in like 20 games

OL/DL always needs improvement and is a place to look to but no matter what: This team needs a more accurate passer than Malik Willis, upside be damned. 41 picks in your first two seasons is unacceptable.
Would you ever consider trading Henry for O-line help? LT is wayyyy to weak this deep into the save
Willis and the ILBs are by far the weakest links of this team. Willis just isn't accurate without a good pocket and the ILBs miss more tackles than they make
I said it a couple of times last year and I’ll say it again. You should really look at trading Henry for picks this offseason. He’s like 30 and is gonna get worse and this isn’t a very good team

Quite frankly it doesn't matter how well this team progresses this year, you don't want to see the Ravens in the playoffs. Their strengths completely exploit the ways in which the Titans team as constructed is weak.
You have to autopilot a DB on defense. When you autopilot a linemen they don’t do anything

Run defence is struggling despite having good talent on the front 7, it’s obvious a scheme change is needed.
Defense can't tackle. Can't stop the run.
This team just isn’t good in the trenches and it shows. The OL is really poor and you have to run the ball effectively to make this offense work and take pressure off Willis.
And the defense. Idk man. Blow up the front 7. Outside of Riddick, what you have doesn’t work and hasn’t for years

My man if your ever against a run heavy team just run basic cover 3. I’m not sure why exactly but in madden specifically it’s by far the best to stop the run it just gets your linebackers in the right spot almost everytime. Your killing yourself by bringing them to the line ironically it’s the worst thing you can do in madden for the run, never blitz everyone is always out of position unless you get lucky.
Above all else just don’t call man at least unless you have three linebackers in the play
