I am really surprised that Champion players still remember him due to The Meta Character takes place.. Hope you can do Wu Chang or Soul Weaver next cuz I’m looking forward to it 👀 ❤️.
He is the only hunter that I play and I completely agree with you. Once I reached Manticore rank, I was in despair almost every game. It’s getting so frustrating. I guess I’m going to have to learn a new hunter, but I just love Jack so much 🥺
Jack desperately needs a buff. His stats are too bad. Other hunters can do more and can control cipher rush well. With ripper, he is basically now a joke. Let’s all encourage netease to buff him.
Another tip is, even if you get stunned the foggy blade still goes flying. So if you're not confident with hitting survivors behind pallets, just walk through while swinging. If survivor drops pallet, you will get stunned but you'll still have 100% hit rate. Most survivors usually rank 5 and up know that. Therefore against ripper, they will drop the pallet right away, or walks through the pallet and not drop to make the fog miss. They know rippers with fog are not afraid to get stunned. Also, experienced survivors will guess when the fog starts reappearing. Experienced ripper will use their guess to dodge fog, and start feinting Antiquarian and enchantress can make you stun and miss the fog so be careful when to swing against them. Survivors like coordinator will sometimes feint the gun to make you swing and miss the fog. If you're not confident, simply get close enough to hit with normal attack. Make sure the fog lands on them too at least. That way ripper can close distance again soon after attack. You should also note that if you have two injured survivors in line, you can get double down with normal strike and fog. Normal attack with drop the first survivor. Then fog will go flying freely hitting the second one in front. Lastly, insivible rippers are fast movers. That alone pressures the survivor. So if they're behind a wall you can turn around and just hide your red light and wait. They will guess which way you're circling from and end up running towards where you're waiting. Just don't wait too long. That's another advanced technique. That's how I usually keep my 100% win rate at rank 5 using only peeper while chairing 4 survivors majority of game. At rank 6 and up, hitting survivors with fog will be very important. Even the slightest mistakes can be devastating. That's why 36 persona is usually a must with ripper. Simple character means you gotta make less mistakes.
more tips: if you are able to hit the surviver up close with fog blade, dont. wait a little then use fog blade so you dont have to wait for the strike animation to end then run up and hit them with the normal attack. A advanced rocket chair strat is this: chair a survivor ( in a open area ) go far enough to see the chaired victim but no fear radius near them in a angle the rescuer wouldn't come from wait when the rescuer comes foggy blade at them result: the injured rescuer must leave or else set them self up for 2 survivers down or you get another down on the chaired with a hit or 2 on the rescuer
He has been my main since season 3 and will always be my top hunter Also another tip u could add when invisible is how Ripper can fake his position with his red light by sticking to walls. Most survivors gets confused by Ripper's position because of the red light they see in survivor pov that they end up running towards him
@@IWG yup its a very good trick when ripper has no foggy blade when he is invisible plus it helps in anti rescue cause ripper can hide his red light and make him completely invisible to any approaching rescuer
I main Ripper and personally I’m fairly good at securing a win on large maps, or against those damn wilding survivor mains. I usually play it as the “new and dumb.” Before I destroy them all.
Can someone reccomend me a video showing the best and worst obstacles you can hit your foggy blade through? I'm new at him and I always hit through the wrong obstacles it's so tiring
@@IWG ooh thanks a lot! I've seen a lot of people carry peepers for him as well because apparently it makes hitting through walls easier a friend told me that, anyway thanks a lot I'm going to try it ahah
How did you get Svengali Skin? Its my dream skin for ripper, getting fragments is hard :( its also the first skin im gonna buy if i can afford it... Plus he is my favorite hunter (i have alot of favorite hunters but the ripper is my favorite for now) ☹️☹️☹️
how ya like my new outro? (end of video)

- Ripper hitbox is extremely weird due to the need of timing and charging ( such short range )
- Sometimes You even ended up hitting pallet for no reason ( force you to be-careful )
-Character who can counter him takes cons in 2 things : + Ministun ( which cancel his stealth or even foggy blade animation )
+ Good Vaulting speed ( Avoid foggy blade through obstacles)
+ Ripper were one of the very first hunter , by now Survivors had their own way to counter him
+ The best map for Ripper is Red Church ( not the Graveyard)
+ And if you’re unlucky then please don’t use him cuz it will drive you crazy of missing foggy tho you aimed
+ Ripper is good with Griffin Tier down ( Mammoth , Deer , Hound , Bee )
P/S ; Top Ripper bring Wanted Order in order to help him chase down or somehow help on controlling cipher

True. I pretty much get 100% win rate at rank 5 using only ripper. But I got the feeling my rate would drop once I reach rank 6.

just ensure the obstacle is not too thick, thin walls or thin+short obstacles would be a perfect example of foggy blade passing through
