Parth Parmar thanks for feedback .. coincidentally am a ug from vadodara too 😊.
i dont think you can use the word odynophagia in chief complaints. it is a medical term and chief complaints should always be in patient's words
Cheif complaint is in drs language
But history of presenting illness is in patients language
So what should b the term???

Hi
I would like to ask Sir to clarify a few points..
Difference between recurrent and chronic tonsillitis?
Can we label a patient having chronic tonsillitis without having a history just based on examination?
If anterior pillar flushing is part of pharyngitis and jugulodigastric are not palpable and cheesy material cannot be expressed.. can we just looking at the tonsils correctly diagnose Ch Ts
Also can a patient have pharyngitis without sore throat?
Can we have just history based diagnosis of chronic tonsillitis?
The episodes we use for indications for tonsillectomy... Are they of acute follicular or could be acute catarrhal?
If patient has recurrent sore throat but no significant examination finding then would that be considered recurrent tonsillitis keeping in view that sore throat has other causes?
Finally thanks for your channel and your videos... Great content and very helpful :)
Recurrent is frequent episodes of acute Tonsillitis....and.. chronic Tonsillitis is persisting infection (dormant) in tonsil for 3 months duration....
chronic Tonsillitis will be based on history and examination both
episodes are for all forms of acute Tonsillitis
Sir please do make more videos thanks a lot sir
Sir please upload more videos on case presentation
Nice
Sir make video on neck swelling and neck masses..
Yes sir i want to ask..
Kushwar S. Rawat please go ahead
@@DrPrasunMishra Thankyou very much for responding. Which kind of problems i am going to face if i remove tonsils?
Kushwar S. Rawat if surgery done in a properly indicated case you wont have any problem .. except for pain for 7-10 days
@@DrPrasunMishra thank you very much sir for your valuable time.
What to do when case is about chronic tonsillitis?
Sir my hod told me that in chronic tonsillitis throat irritation is not there, difficulty in swallowing is wrong and also halitosis is wrong. I don’t understand all this is mentioned in dhingra sir is this even fair? Also sir i mentioned throat irritation for two years with aggravating factor as cold drinks and antibiotics as relieving factor and sleep disturbance , mouth breathing, snoring and bad breath since one year, she mocked me and said my whole chief complaintsand odp are wrong. Sir we haven’t seen a patient in this corona period, I took help of a resident and he told me to write this. Sir is this chief complaints right or wrong? Please answer.
Sir our professors ask us what are the drugs which cause halitosis
And if glossopharyngeal nerve is responsible for referred pain ...why only throat infections will cause pain in ear ...and why not ear infections cause pain in the throat
Sir, in cheif complain can be say like dysphagia odynophasia?
Most common should be viral infection.
Mishra ji 👍
Sir odenophasia should not be included in chief complain..c/c should have complains in patients own language as per I know
Shubhashish Dash thanks for the question
1) history is written by a Doctor to communicate patients condition to another Doctor ... its not fir patient
2) so it has to be English translation of patients complaint .. odynolhagia can very well be use in history ..... however if your teachers persists on using common terms then its ok to use painful swallowing instead .
Hope this clarifies 🙏🏻
Sir can u upload nose case
why do I think this is scripted btw quite informative
Sir we need still more videos
