This is a difficalt question in essence if it goes faster that 30 is is classed as a 125cc in regards to the law but as a rider i think it is safer to do it but his is my opinion and i dont make the laws so acording to the law you could be done for no licence and no insurance i have never heard of this being arrested for this (doent mean it hasnt happened) so do it at your own risk
Riding reviews okay thanks. I’m definitely thinking of getting this bike for when I’m 16 but just don’t know if I should derestrict it or not as my dad who has been riding for around 40 years doesn’t really recommend it but also thinks that 50cc bikes are dangerous for how slow they go.
Hi Chris, just bought a Hunter 50cc for my daughter for her 16th birthday. We know nothing about motorbikes. So, any advice on maintaining and looking after a bike. I service my own car, are bikes similar? Eg oil change and filters cleaned or replaced or should it go into a bike shop? Any advice on first ride out and on washing a moped? Thanks in advance for taking the time to answer. Scotty
Wash it with a bucket not a jetwash and get a wheel brush i take it is second hand due to there being no new ones left they are not that hard to service a oil change chain tension tappets it is no harder than a car
No it’s new , it was very hard to get one. What motorbike oil do we use and how often do we change it. Would you recommend first service (300) mile at a shop or is it just a oil change. Thanks Scotty
I see loads of people saying that these aren’t restricted they are restricted to 30mph. They aren’t restricted through the CDI though it’s restricted to a washer in the exhaust
@@TIIZZY_ thanks for your if you have a look in this video this bike is brand new and it is 45 mph these bikes come with no restriction the top you can get out of this engine is about 50 mph
Seriousley .. A service every 1000 miles At £100+ a time . so an avarage rider has to pay out the same amount in serviceing in a year than the bike cost. and by the way these are ristricted to 30 mph by the carb slide and can be easly modified with a kit from lexmoto themselves costing approx £10. they can be ridden in ristricted form by a 16 year old when limited to 30 MPH. so all in a all a very missleading vid .
These do have the longer slide in the carb but it restricts the revs but they still go about 40 with that restriction in they just slow down alot on the hills the hunter aspire and wk colt have the same thing we service these bikes for £56 remember these bikes have 800mm of oil in them so the oil gets gumed up pritty quick i dont mean to be misleading and i am sorry if it comes across like that thank you for you opinion
so what do you think of this bike please comment bellow and remember, please subscribe
What is the worst that can happen if you are 16 and get caught by the police when the bike is derestricted. Does your license get suspended?
