While Dazed is an asshole who wanted to win because he had nothing else up until his unbanning from everything except majors, his fundamentals of the game is something a lot of pros, especially tier 2 pros, should've picked up on. That's why if you watch a lot of old Rank S/FPL clips, a lot of those tier 2-3 players either phased out of the pro-scene because they were never good enough to go to tier 1, are switching to Valorant in hopes to get a head start in a new scene, or are stuck in tier 2-3 hell because they never took their game to the next level. And sure, Dazed gave up on is MDL team when he realized that he had to put in work despite having players like AZK/Brax, etc. But his understanding of the game was still better than most NA players despite not having competed in over 2-3 years. It's sad to see that despite 4-5 years since Cloud9/Liquid started the road for success for NA, we only have 2 tier 1 teams in Liquid/EG and 2 tier 2/tier 1 NA teams in Gen.G/Cloud9. If Dazed and Steel never got banned, we would have at least 2 more internationally competent teams.

And valve did not let brax play even after more that 90% of the pros asked to uban the roster cause they were kids. It's a good thing that valorant is coming out.
more people played rank S, and FPL back in the day, now all the pros just pracc and it's not worth it for them to play FPL/rank S while streaming. It's a shame since this made for so many hours of good quality content.
