Halfway through I finally realize that's Johnny Marr ....... They were just 4 guys from Las Vegas. Not much experience. Lead singer was so obviously uncomfortable on stage you wondered if he'd vomit. Then they wrote an anthem for the broken hearted. 20 years later audiences are still singing. And Brandon Flowers knows how to work a stage and a crowd. Quite a feat
I just watched a video of them playing Mr. brightside in probably ‘03 to like 30 people. If you don’t think that practice makes perfect and great songs have potential even in their roughest form, then watch that

It's funny they play arenas in the USA, but when they come to the UK they play like 50,000 seat stadiums, and lots of them!
