Ethan Hayden Infernape is still a great pokemon competitively, it has great base speed it's moveset is diverse and it has alot of different ways to use it, whoever says infernape is a bad pokemon doesn't know anything about competitive battleing.

Anthony Humphrey The night theme was actually the backing track to the day theme. It took me a while to notice, though. For the nighttime version, they removed the main melody you hear during the day, and transposed it down (like they did with most night themes).

The Team rocket in the manga Pokemon Special Adventure is pretty badass, it's a well constructed mafia-like organization and cruel as can be. Nothing like the team rocket of the cartoon. Also this tune was my favorite of the game so thank you, a lot.

I wish I played platinum (and heart gold) in 2009 instead of 2014 :'( I was the kind of guy who hyper-actively made fun of pokemon when it was big in my school (I think it was year 4 - 5) I was about 6 when platinum came out and I recognised alot of sinnoh pokemon but when black & white came out everyone was collecting cards and stuff but I just thought it was dumb, I has a ds lite aswell! I could have easily played it. I remeber Emboar & Samurott being da shit (which probably angers all genwunners). However being about 1 - 2 years now since I have played HeartGold, Platinum, White 2 and Omega Ruby I am in love with the franchise and am already slightly nostalgic! Can't wait for Sun and Moon!
Team Plasma, basically for N, who might be my favourite Nintendo villain in general. He comes off as a very skilled opponent, making him intimidating, but also has sympathetic characteristics.
My favorite villain would definitely be Cyrus (Platinum-only). He had the most thought-out plan (and would've gotten away with it too if it weren't for that out-of-nowhere meddling Giratina), and his backstory made me feel so bad for him I couldn't help but almost empathize with him for going this far. I like to think the reason why he lost all his emotions is because he had an encounter with Mesprit that went wrong, which can also justify his "revenge" speech at the beginning of the game.
Team Galactic as a whole didn't know what the hell they were doing. They nuked a lake, so that makes them pretty darn cool...but only Cyrus and the commanders could exactly piece together what Cyrus was trying to have Team Galactic accomplish. I still have to wonder, was Cyrus using Palkia and Dialga to create a world without Mespirit, Uxie, and Azelf? Or...
Im geussing that he was using the trios gems to awaken Dialga and Palkia, in which later he would use them to create his new world with the two. I dont think it was stated that he wanted a world without the trio, more likely a world to his liking.
Zaharie-sama He does say he wants a world without emotion, and the Lake Trio is the Pokemon embodiment of emotion, so it may be possible that he wanted to harness their power and then be rid of them.

Nobunaga (Pokémon Conquest) is definitely the coolest antagonist in my opinion, though I guess he's not really a villainous team (unless you count his army as a villainous team). Conversely, Cipher (Pokémon Colosseum/XD) is my favorite team as a whole, but neither Evice nor Greevil is all that great. As for least favorite, I'm not quite sure - all the villains are cool in their own right.
Team Aqua / Magma : First of all, Ruby was my first pokemon game so kinda biased here. I felt that the war between two Groups and you in between it all was a fun way of multitasking trying to save both sides of the world. Not to mention that they both had very good stories that kept me entertained with sympothy for them. I remember thinking "Why do i need to fight them, there doing what they feel is right, who am i to interfere". Plus, Aqua: I love the ocean. Magma: Look at there outfits!

Not entirely sure what my favorite and least favorite would be, but can I just comment on the fact that Team Aqua tried to expand the ocean by making it rain. Maybe there should be school in the pokemon universe, so that people can learn the water cycle.
Giovanni gave up after 3 or 4, actually. Three losses against Red, and one against Gold in the Celebi Event in HG/SS. But blame that on one of his flaws--while he's way into the whole take-over-the-world-and-make-a-huge-profit thing with Team Rocket, he's way more obsessed with being the strongest Trainer and capturing strong Pokémon. Losing to two kids after training alone for years broke him for a while until he decided to get over it and join the PWT to test his new strength some years later.
Maxie/ Archie was my favorite because their music/ cool looking teams and Cyrus was my least because his team was all bowl cuts and just hard to look at in general.
We hardly know anything about Team Flare other than the Grunts' appearance and I guess their possible motives. A lot of people bashed on Team Plasma before Black and White came out, and look what happened when it did--nearly everyone loved them because they were so much more underneath in what they showed with their stories and actions. Maybe Team Flare will be the same. Even then, though, the Team I still see bashed on for their outfits no matter what, is Team Galactic. Poor Cyrus.
Favorite villain Cryus because he wanted to be god and strike fear into the world because he is a man with no emotions so he wouldn't care if he killed his mother to have power like God and that is why he is my favorite villain in pokemon.Ps I don't have a least favorite

Like what Team Rocket wanted to do with Kanto and Johto for money, only in the first B/W they were smarter about it and posed as a PETA-ish group to keep their crimes more of a secret. In B2/W2 they went full Team Rocket and just wanted to fuck shit up. Only...with a pirate ship. With a freeze ray. I still give them props on being the first team to actually capture and control a Legendary, though.

My favourite villainous team is Cipher. I know it sounds hipster to go for something so unorthodox, but they came really close to realising their goal! Team Rocket aren't quite as ambitious; Team Magma, Aqua and Galactic were all doomed from the start with the inevitable intervention of legendary Pokémon; and Team Plasma, in both incarnations, was run by Ghetsis who pulled the strings from behind the scenes, and sadly, he can't make rational decisions because he's completely insane.
I'm trying to decide whether Cyrus or Ghetsis is my favorite villain. Cyrus didn't manipulate or (attempt to) kill children, but Ghetsis didn't RIP A HOLE IN THE DAMN UNIVEEEEEERSE I'll call it a draw. They can duke it out with fists later. Worst villainous team leader? I'd say Giovanni since he gives up after losing one battle, but the guy gets bonus points for nearly vaporizing Mewtwo's soul. Whoop, looks like Archie's motives are Dunsparce - cute, but you're not winning with that thing.
My least villain(s), though, would have to Archie and Maxie. While I still like the Team rivalry and how the story played it out and how I fight both of them in Emerald, their goals were completely stupid to me and made no sense, even if they WERE able to succeed.
