Want to thank you for designing such an innovative and durable camper system. My nephew just purchased a Toyota TRD 4X4 OffRoad and you are building the camper for it. I am anxious to see it in person as he drives back to Flagstaff. To you and your staff very good job well done!!!
Sold! Will pick one up when I retire from the military in a few years-want to swing by the shop to see your factory in person and convince the wife Montana is where we're retiring! Have an over the bed custom rack I fabbed w/ some welders that holds jerry cans, storage containers, and will be getting a RTT soon-but will re-think the bed/storage for your camper. Your product looks awesome; look forward to seeing it continue to develop over the next few years.
Came for the camper, stayed for the talk on capitalism done the right way... As a small businessman myself, I wish more companies thought this way. A good product made by valued and well compensated workers is a recipe for success. Yes, you as the owner may not wind up being a millionaire overnight this way but you can live with yourself, knowing you take care of your people and your customers. Trying to convince the wife we need a GFC on our Tacoma.
I saw one of these when visiting Glacier last weekend. Looks like a great product and a great company. I hope to get one someday. Awesome work. Thanks 👊
Really proud of you guys, how far you’ve come and everything that is embodied in V2. Wishing the GFC team continued success, couldn’t happen to a better group of people! Congrats on the new products!
Absolutely stunning products made in USA! The website has beautiful images and content along with helpful info. Thanks for sharing, looking forward to more.
Amazing work! Family history of manufacturing in USA and really appreciate the team you have there. Can't wait for our XL unit #1580 to begin for our RAM 2500. We currently use unit #95 on our Tacoma and it' rock solid.
You all really listen to the concerns of your customers. I was concerned about tbe locks, but youve nailed it. I'll be going with GFC this year. THANKS!!😀
Superb! This really trips my trigger simply because of the quality and the built in house, built in the USA philosophy. And as a retired Mech. Engineer your design and attention to detail makes me want to tell others about it.
Another great product, very innovative and made in the USA. I want t o thank you for not only providing great products but keeping jobs in the US. I wish more companies would have your principles. When I can afford it, I will go for Go Fast Campers! thank you.
Wow such a great company. The last part of the video really made me happy to have bought a tent from you guys. I know I'll be getting a great product and all made in the best country!!! Thank you GFC!!
Damn dude, well done. Im Canadian and would love to support the cause. Just factory ordered my F-150 Heavy Duty Payload Package and will be ordering one of these for it for my weekly overnight campouts and a bumper pull for longer trips.

I placed my deposit last week. If I was still on the fence today, this video would have been the motivator to finally pull the trigger. VERY nicely done. I can't wait to see you guys in person in February to pick up my V2 XL !!!!!! Hopefully the north is buried in fresh powder for the trip!
The 'local' aspect was a big selling point for me - built in-house here in MT, every part replaceable. Wish I'd waited for the V2, but I'm not cryin'! Good luck & keep on progressing!
Just bought a new Tacoma and will save to get a gfc I’m a outdoor sportsman and I think this would be great for my hunting fishing kayak adventures hoping to make videos to share with everyone
Really digging the design improvements in the V2, very curious if you guys have any plans in the works to incorporate an optional insulation kit into the tent and roof. I hear the condensation factor is a big deal in using these in cold weather especially running a heater. I'm sure you'd sell a ton and it might be the ace in hole towards purchasing a camper for many folks including myself
Dang, this is pretty legit! Lots of cool innovation and the attention to detail is pretty amazing. I would be even more tempted to buy one with the new version if I hadn't already built my own!
This is awesome! Considering the insane quality that goes into this, you guys are seriously setting new standards for the market here. I drive an OBS Ford (92) w/the 6 3/4' bed. The fact the dimensions of the Super Duty and OBS short beds are basically identical gives me hope. I love that you offer this in the XL for a SD short bed, and with the adjustable width/cab angle features you built-in, this should mount up mint. I do believe I spied a red Ford OBS in the background of your Superlite FAQ video with what appears to be the V2 on it, so a man can pray. ;)
I liked GFC's before this model, and now I'm even more impressed to see how they modify their product to match customer feedback. I'm definitely getting one of these down the road.
Great modular product - great video. A couple of questions: 1) Any "soft" options for tailgate closure? 2) Any slider window options for pass-thru with truck's sliding rear window?
You guys really need to make more of your stuff like the topper available for the 1st Gen Tundra... I own 4 Toyota 4wds and my '06 Tundra is my absolute favorite, even over my 1-KZTE swapped/SAS'd/E-locked 2nd Gen Hilux Surf.
Such a great video! Seeing you guys come a long way and how big of a jump from v1 to v2 is really is amazing! Would love to rock a v2 camper on my Hilux one day and travel Europe with it! Keep it up you guys! 🙌❤️
This is fantastic! Thanks @gfc for posting. Now I’m even more stoked on getting mine this year :) keep up the great work and being a leader for America!
#682 here. Wow, some real thoughtful improvements. My “OG” camper is on mid sized Colorado and my teenagers are eager to inherit it. So when the time comes I will be treating myself to a new full sized truck and get in queue for a V2XL! How about a OEM integrated MAx fan by then??
Looks like some strong updates and really nice design improvements. I do wish the overhang was a little longer so you didn’t have to move the tiles to drop down into the bed of the truck - having an 12-18” gap would have been great to be able climb off the bed to stand up. We tried 5 nights in a rented GFC and it was a real pain moving the floor tiles.
That’s the main reason why I went with a VB Drifter. Having your partner move around etc during the night to get on the first level was a huge no for me. Also wanted to store all the bedding up top.
@@GFC A sliding screened window like any other typical shell would have so the dogs riding in the bed get some ventilation while going through Moab. My guess is it will get pretty hot back there without a screened window on each side.
Very nice to see such continuing invitation and commitment domestic manufacturing. Two months ago I just bought a hard sided RTT and the ONLY reason I didn't buy the platform tent is because I couldn't enter it from the passengers side with a ladder. I would have loved to have this tent's profile, weight and looks but hey, what can I do?
Sweet looking camper! The touch-ups were thoughtfully executed . A little more rain protection while tent deployed and windows open for airflow would be appreciated. Does it have a pre-wire for solar option?
Hey! We've been in some storms and it does pretty well. We don't have pre-wire for solar, but we do offer a solar tray and it's really easy to wire and install on your camper.
I put in my reservation a couple weeks ago and was confused by the "V2" all over the website without an explanation of the changes. I'm glad to see the video, but can you also add this information to the website? The new design of the front appears to have a built-in wind skid, does this cut down on the wind noise without requiring the accessory purchase of wind skid? With the non-welded modular design are you considering freight shipping of the disassembled camper? I'm glad you integrated a interior opening capability for the rear latch. I know that panel weight, interior support clearance, and durability is an issue, but have you looked at integrating sliding windows on the side of the shell for venting? I was looking at adding Small RV/van sliding windows but not sure that the struts would support the weight. The new frame supports appear to provide more room for the window frame though. I understand that there is no tent or shell insulation. Are you looking at insulation options for the shell? I think stick on may be the best, but I'm not sure how the surface would react with changing temps. Is there space on the tent interior when closed to add fabric interior liner for insulation? I noticed that there is no built in lighting for this version also...but tracks to put in your own? Does this no longer include the dimmable lighting tracks?
Oh boy, we need to really get on the website guy if you have this many questions. I think the best thing would be to email support@gfcengineering.com and they will take care of you. 😁
@@thetankslapper It does have a built in wind skid now, Campers only ship fully built as described on website, no plan for windows or insulation, no lighting is currently offered but they are developing accessory lighting options (no timeline), no option or capability for electronic lock, the panel lock is different from the tent lock so they use 2 different keys.
Will there be a flight deck for the Ford ranger. I’m so proud of you guys. Built American style. I do t know my number but my start date is June 2021. I really can’t wait I’m ready to use it.
Love EVERYTHING ( ! ) but the black anodized aluminum. Where I live (high desert) in the summertime meat can be seared on that mid-summer mid-day.... I certainly expect/hope white or silver aluminum is an option! LOVE who you “Are” and your mission statement!
Hey Cliff, Thanks for the kind words, and we hear what you are saying on the black ano. Currently we don't have plans to offer in another color. but we just hired a chemical engineer so who knows?
@@GFC There is always a very thin pure aluminum coat/exterior that is actually reasonably corrosion resistant, and if an owner wanted it could be polished to a reflective/mirrored surface like was done with aircraft of yesteryear. It would reflect some of the heat instead of collecting it. The aluminum alloy would be used for strength and other very beneficial properties, but pure a aluminum film (aluminum foil) bonded with heat & pressure to the exterior for corrosion resistance. Talk to your metallurgy people. Might likely be impractical due to cost. I don’t know the economics of it.
Simple solution for me since it's my line of work, I'm going to wrap it with 3M Wrap film in white to match my Gladiator. The Airstream I had - brushed anodized aluminum - wasn't as good at reflecting hest as white was . Hence the reason the seasoned Wally Byam club members often painted the top white to keep them cool inside. Looked funky, but not that noticeable in the pre drone era.
Second watch of this after a bit of conversation over on the Gladiator forum. I originally was all in on the GFC, then was really liking what SuperPacific had going on... but this release has me back on team GFC. I just need a way to go with an Exped Mat Duo instead of these thin pads and it'll be perfect.
Awesome improvements with the V2. Still not fan of the sleeping platform needing to be taken apart to get down. At night with 2 people i can see how this could be a real hassle. Tent fabric is amazing for warmer climates, probably not good for -20F due to lack of heat retention. No fan on the roof, no lights, no power ports, all these I find really useful on my camper. If GFC can make a camper with these it would be amazing.
We've never seen an issue with removing the panels with 2 people, in fact, I did it without waking the other person since you just pop out one square, and boom, you are out. This is a tent at the end of the day so yes in -20 you are going to freeze your bum off without the proper sleeping bag. As far as accessories on power and lights our customers are super specific about their builds and we'd rather give them the option to configure things how they like them. That's why we included the mounting system on the interior of the tent and bed. cya on the trail! 💪
This is exactly what I’ve been looking for on the market 👌🏽 great work guys and really good informational video, I’m going to be putting in my deposit this week!
Wow, super excited to get it! Even more excited for the shorter lead time, this might actually make it for climbing season :)
Glad you are stoked David! We are working to get them out ASAP!
That ending monologue was a pleasant surprise. Good on GFC.
We thought it was important that people know our intentions as a company.
Might have sold me on the GFC vs the Vagabond strictly due to the last couple of minutes! 👌

We think the pads are pretty nice and thick, but some guys have used a 1inch topper on our forums if they wanted some more cushioning.
Damn dude this is cool. Got some deals in the pipeline that hopefully will let me buy one. Can’t wait to go surf and camp with my little boy
Would be nice if there was an insulated black out sheet for the inside slope of the tent.
We think the roof allows a pleasant amount of natural light in the morning. But I'm sure it wouldn't be a hard thing for you to rig up. ✌
Seen another video where the guy says you could paint over the cover.
Stoked!
Awesome, I can not wait to get mine this summer!!
Stoked to get you out there!
Looks awesome. Would love to see an option essentially cut in half using up only 1/2 the roof rack space for a solo traveler.
Not sure how that would look, but you can configure both the transforma floor and your gear however you'd like riding solo. I know we do. ✌
Cheers lads, looking forward to it 👏
Awesome reminder about “Buying American”!!! American made is better, period! I own the GFC Camper and RTT; love em both!
Thanks Peter! We always want to make the best campers here in the USA.
