I miss the Amish auctions when we lived on a horse farm. Now? I already have two chickens in a two bedroom home. No room for a handsome young mule. Guineas. NO! They look wrong, they sound wrong. My roo is a "prairie bluebell" Tractor Supply for an americana/leghorn cross. He was the regular chipmunk color when he was born, and has...exploded in color. While we were at a flea market someone noticed...so you know we are rural. His wife said "Americana?" Husband replies "Wrong comb." He is....splash, laced, etc. with every color in the book. His comb? Not a button, not points. It's not sure WHAT it's doing right now. But he's very proud of it! Thanks for taking us with you!!!
There are not too many auctions there because the auctioneers scare people away, they carry a javelin, stick the tongue out, move weirdly on the podium...
They didn't JUST have animals There was a side auction of dead ripe fruit and vegetables. (Use IMMEDIATELLY or give to livestock.) They added an OUTSIDE auction for used farm and canning equipment. There was one guy who inexplicably had outdated pastries, chips, etc. And there were a dozen stands people set up to sell snacks and drinks, so it was a great, and relatively cheap, place to take your family. A good place to discuss why WE need to can if we purchase, or WE need to tend the chickens we buy....or why WE aren't buying that adorable pony. New Zealand is BEAUTIFUL! Hello neighbor! *wave*
What's your opinion on Pilgrim geese Jordon? What would be your recommendation for a goose to live on a farm pond that will hatch and raise its babies? Thank you
I haven’t had pilgrims before but I hear that they are great birds! In my experience, African and Chinese geese are very good at hatching out and raising. They just tend to have a lower resale value in my area
Great video keep them coming hope you and your family are doing well if you need good homers or good rollers I am inn a club in Baltimore Maryland I wood love to. Send you and you kids some birds jim from Baltimore
Thanks Jim! The family is doing well! The kiddos make me feel old lol. I would love to take you up on a few birds for the kiddos but I need to get some space sorted. Maybe in the future once I make some changes?
Sorry, don't go to auctions for animals in groups. Are the prices you post the price per bird/rabbit or the entire cage? I would assume the price is per animal in each cage but would like clarification. Thank you.
I start to explain that in the first 20 seconds of the video. All prices are per “head”. If you buy a cage of 5 ducks at the bid of $5 your total would be $25 for the lot
Quick question. Why don't you use a windsock on your recording equipment? Much better quality. I know all the people I know that do TH-cam. That's what they use. Just saying.
Great content as usual. I love seeing all the animals
Thank you!
Hi Jordan. I have been looking forward to your auction videos.

cemani chickens are pronouncwd like chemani, as in indonesia C has a ch sound
Thank you for the correction! I will probably mispronounce it due to habit but I will try!

Fair point!
I typically did. The one I had ripped and I haven’t found my backup. I’ll just order a couple more
Do you ever see racoons sold as pets where you live? My son wants one so bad
I can’t say that I’ve seen any of those for sale
Get an iguana for your kid. Salmonella is better than rabies...
Iv seen them at Ohio auctions, only at the exotic auctions tho.
More of them
Auction videos? I’ll do my best!
The blue leg beauties look like they are gold campine
That’s what I was thinking!

Wassup Jordan! I emailed you like a week ago, no response yet
Hi!!!
You might resend the email. I’ve been getting a bunch of junk and might have accidentally deleted it
There's a sea bird called a blue footed boobie
You are correct!
Down here,we call them "dirty feet"! about the anatomy /life lesson ...talk to your father.
And I quit, now, until the next video.
