Most people that own these and other modern diesel vehicles don't even know what a DPF is let alone that they need to be "run hard" every now and then to allow a regen to happen.
Car dealers have a lot to answer for, why do they sell small diesel powered cars with DPFs to little old ladies.
You just know it is never going to get hot enough or be driven hard enough for long enough to run a self regen.
They head down the shops once a week at about 40kmh and park an the garage for the rest of the time.
Can the DPF regen be done the same way on a manual box?

Hi, another Aussie here with a 2007 R51 YD25, so far in 8 months of owning, i have changed all the vac lines, boost solenoid, fuel filter, air filter, SCV, deleted the egr pipe and plated both ends including derestriction plate, always put fuel treatment in my diesel, intercooler and intakes pipes are a combo of alloy and silicone, turbo sounds like it spools fine but i at times lack acceleration severely then other times it has plenty of power, when its lacking take off it sounds really quiet then suddenly itll have exhaust note noticably and go like a scalded cat, would that be dpf or any other ideas? Had the DPF warning light come up on my Qashqai a few years ago. I had no f idea what that meant, so referred to the Owners Manual. Basically, it said stop driving like a wimp and give it a bit of welly. Drove it down the motorway for a good blast and never a problem since. 👍🤞
My 2010 Nissan Navara keeps cutting off while in motion. When this happens I have to wait for about 5 minutes and start again. The vehicle will work for days/weeks before I experience the issue again. Do you know why this is?

Hello,, I have a Toyota hilux 1994(taro)4x4 it has 100 hp and the engine is 2300cc and for some reason especially when i have some weight in the back it doesnt have power in 4H to climb some hills that i could climb 1 year ago. So i always have to change it to 4L to climb things
my 2001 nissan eterra 4x4 there seems to be an issue with acceleration. Around town and getting on the frwy it runs great lots of power but when at cruising speed on the frwy under a load it boggs down when you accelerate Any ideas?

I have a nissan pathfinder 2.5 dci automatic and when i push the pedal too much the engine give me 4wd , check engine , and esp all board stat on full eror is like the goes in an protection i have to stop the car put in the Parc switch off wait 5 second an when i turn on everything back to normal butt now things ar getting worst now thys error start apear more often ! Car rpm arround 3000-4000 rpm but the car wont speed is going with 30km/h 40
Guys, I'm in Australia, or I'd bring the car to u guys. But I've got a 2012 pathy R51 St-L. Diesel. When I out my foot down, it splutters and loses power. So far I've replace scv, glow plugs, oil and air filter, maf sensor. Still no difference. Would this help if I do a dpf regen?
Hi, I'm watching your bad videos on the nissan navara D40. I am from Russia, the city of St. Petersburg. Car Nissan Navara, 2008, Spain. The seventh year I can't find the problem, the engine loses traction during acceleration and goes into emergency mode. It does not react to the gas pedal, it is idling. I turn off the engine, start it again and it goes, accelerates. There are no errors, the check is not lit. I came to the conclusion that the fuel system has nothing to do with it. The problem was in the turbine control valve, it worked periodically correctly. Replaced, acceleration is there, but at a speed of 140 again goes into an accident. Do you know how to solve it?

Hi , seemed to be doing great work with these nissan navara engines.
I have a 2017 with DPF , driving in low speed it just shut off at times and will not start and this happens on three occasion. What could be the reason ?

I have a UK spec d40 navara automatic with a yd25 that's had a code p0093 ... gotten a new scv from the nissan dealership worked well for for two weeks and has returned with the Same p0093 .
Lots of black smoke revving tol 4000 rpm in Park. Intake is quite oily . Goes into limp mode trying to climb even the slightest hill . Any suggestions ?

Can you please help me, I have d40 Spanish 2007. At the moment I have problem where the car keep stalling when the rev below 1000. I've change the SCV, MAF sensor,boost solenoid, cam sensor. Fuel pump , but still haven't fix the car. I'm stuck at the moment. Please help
Unplug the cam sensor and see if it starts if it does it’s the timing chain stretch

I have Spanish 2008 D40. Running ok but yesterday I remove and clean throttle body. Has only 130000 K it is a totally different car to drive just lovely cost 1o$ took ten minutes. Also check all your turbo pipes for air leakage. Am got to upgrade all pipes to hard type if big pipes suck in when rev do the same
I get a rattling noise from the engine (I think)... when going up hill I hear a loud clacking sound when on accelerator then loose power. If I release the pedal the noise stops but when I stamp the accelerator again the noise returns until I go down hill.. don't know what it is..
My Nissan d40 goes off when moving I have to bleed before it starts
