he was beaten when he was in the Russian prison. he helped a girl escape and they beat him, that's why he's out against the world because he's seen how ruthless ppl can be if he doesn't wear the mask he gets paralyzed from the intense pain
He was acting that way because there is more to this clip. Just before this started the host showed a video of Tom in a modelling contest probably in one of the biggest lows of his life, likely the start or peak of his addiction. Of course if he's a person naturally bothered by things like that it's kind of hard to hold back. People need to stop jumping to conclusions.
yeah and he didn't know why Bane wore the mask since it would be a spoiler and there wasnt an origin story in the film...so he changed the topic to avoid answering that part
Jheeze you people are pathetic. Tom was clearly having a laugh with Johnathon about the whole thing, it was never meant to be taken serious chill the fuck out.
The Joker and Bane were both such epic villains in the 'Dark Knight' movies, that I actually felt a little frustrated while watching the movies knowing that they would lose in the end. In both movies I found myself rooting for the villains just because of how badass their portrayal was.
He was spectacular in Warrior as well. Really up and coming and very convincing in every role I've seen him in. Of course it is tough to top Heath's performance as Joker even though this was an admirable follow up to the last movie. He surely has the right stuff to be a mainstream action star who can actually pull off the acting part too. Hope to see more from him soon. Nice job Tom!
I find it weird how you have one of the most American series there is, Batman, yet you have the three most successful movies about that character, where Batman is played by a Welshman, all three movies are directed by an Englishman, and the three villains are played by an Irishman, an Australian and another Englishman :P
I am American and very proud of the talents we have here;)... But this is an awesome point you made! So interesting how that all worked out. Of course, there are great American actors in the trilogy as well. But yeah Christian, Christopher, Cillian, Liam, Heath and Tom are all incredible men!
Thats the reason he was so good in it. all he had was his eyes and he got the emotions spot on. they were both fantastic and i do agree that more scenes were needed for bane to be on par with the joker but the scenes he had he played very well.
Hardy is acting weird because JR just played a clip of him looking really goofy in a show he was on YEARS ago called the big breakfast. He's not drunk or stoned you fools.
@@Kinobambino it's literally how me and my girl talk. We do like huge dramatic acts sometimes and it serves no purpose other than to stimulate the imagination
i love him 💕 i can actually relate to his reaction, i love his honesty and i am also sensitive sometimes and people take it the wrong way... he handles it better than me though, he is so lovely~
The Joker hadn't a direct goal, so it really wasn't a point for him to win or lose. He was an evil genius, but a madman. Bane was born and toughened by darkness and evil and mentored by Ra's al ghul in The League or Shadows, so he was carrying out a huge motive and had a strong foundation to be built upon it. physically and mentally.
Nah, he just bulked up. He was really lean in The Warrior, so all he did was eat a lot of junk food, a lot of protein, and his same workout in The Warrior, but focused on heavy lifting instead of cardio. He burned off most of the fat, but had much more than the little to none that he had in The Warrior. He's a scary fucking guy either way.
I noticed that he was looking into the distance a lot when he was speaking but then he sort of warmed up when they were having a bit of a laugh and he started looking at Ross more I think he is like me because I am a bit awkward when speaking to people but I tend to feel more confident when I'm joking around or having a laugh with someone
When I say he was at his level I meant, he played HIS role (Bane) so well, that people likes Nolan's Bane more than traditional Bane which was revolutionary, same case as Heath Ledger's Joker.
Tom is generally fucking insane like that, in everything, in real life. He did like a Africa journey documentary and it was fucking jokes!! He's a nutter.
He was deflecting in order to not answer the mask question and risk giving out a spoiler. Nolan would've been pissed. Look how successful it was. Everyone thinks he's slow, yet he managed to avoid answering the question.
His Bane was so f*#king good; the best part of the TDKR! It pisses me off he wasn't nominated for the Saturn Award Nominations!! He really deserved this...
Tom hardy normally seems unusual and quite intimidating. Maybe press and interviews just annoy him. He seems like he could be a massive introvert. I’ve seen other interviews where he just doesn’t seem all there and quite pissed off
Fun fact. Bale is actually a solid 3" taller than Hardy. They use camera tricks to make Bane look around 6'3 in the movie. In one part what he kills a man, he towers above him staring down at him as he talks... in actual fact Hardy stood on a box for that scene, and for many others.
For those of you who didn't see this show. There is slight tension between the two as a result of the host, Johnathan Ross showing a clip of Tom Hardy when he was a teenager on some show called the Big Breakfast, Tom seemed really taken aback by it, That's why there is some awkwardness. But they end up hugging so it's all good :)
Both Heath Ledger and Tom Hardy are amazing actors and they played their role fantastically . So you can't really compare them .
I still cant believe it these innocent looking peoples played these role heath ledger joker i still recoginize his face little bit but tom hardy bane i fucking still doesnot understand how he tranformed himself into bane this is just awesome
