So I performed a cover of twenty one pilots' addict with a pen during the Stratford Star Finale last night, the theme was "My Inspiration", so you can skip past the first 45 or so seconds if you don't want to hear why I decided to sing this song. This was a pretty emotional song for me to perform, I hope you like it! please thumbs up, comment, subscribe & show it to your grandma :)

the thing that gets me a little little bit just a little bit mad is that no one here is congratulating or giving any glory to the piano player I know I know the girl singing sounds really good and is amazing and knows things that other people don't understand but I just want to thank the piano player because I tried learning a song on piano and is very difficult for me because my eyes were tearing up in the first minute I just want to say thank you for both of you lovely people who played the song you were both amazing

I think the best part of Twenty Øne Pilots is that their songs all have a meaning, but anyone can make the meaning personal as well. Where one person will see the original meaning, others will find their own. The clique is amazing, Tyler is amazing, Josh is amazing, everyone is freakin amazing. |-/
Thank you for your comment! My speech at the beginning was about the artist and why they inspire me, not the song specifically. I chose that song because of its meaning and I can relate to that a lot, but twenty one pilots has helped me so much with my mental illness and that's why I chose to sing a song of theirs for this event.

You see, Tyler want's people to find their own meaning. So although the song may have been written about religion, it doesn't mean that she can't have created her own meaning to the song. Because this song means something to her, something different to what you see.
