My Full Living Dead Doll Collection! 2020

- So, I just went back and looked at my last, OLD video showing my whole Living Dead Dolls collection. Honestly, this is basically the same video. LOL. I haven’t gotten many new ones, or gotten rid of many. The movement of dolls coming or going just stopped. I still felt like I had to do this video, one last time, before I downsize my collection. Between financial changes and also the simple thought of STUFF, THINGS, OBJECTS, COLLECTIONS, more things to dust, more things to pack up when it’s time to move, etc. just got me thinking it’s really time to clear out and sell some of my things. I’m not a minimalist by any means, but I do take a lot of inspiration from its ideas. And when I look around, logically, I think there is absolutely no purpose for some of the things I have. Gotta say with the dolls though, most of them really do bring me happiness and this is a sad kind of process here. But that’s part of the point of collector’s items. They’re assets, on standby for liquidation. And I’m at a point in my life in which I need to start liquidating. As for the dolls, sometimes I feel like, the less of them you have, the more of an impact you make. Think of a guest who comes over and sees ONE creepy doll somewhere in the house. It’s a bit more intriguing than a wall full of hundreds of them, ya know? No shade though. Another part of me wishes I could have that full wall of hundreds of dolls. But at this time, I’m downsizing, focusing on building up some wealth and getting some affairs in order. Like I said in the video, I do hope I can get back into buying and selling and trading, having a fluid and perhaps larger collection one day. Or perhaps I’ll choose for quality over quantity, and chase down my all time favorites. But sadly I have to say bye to the current chapter.

I love your little ldd collection. Walpurgis is my favorite, I wanted to get her but never was able and by the time I could, she skyrocketed in price LOL. I love your 13th anniversary Sadie too. I only collected the first series of fashion victims and wanted Sybil from that line but then I just stopped collecting those and switched to monster high years later lol. I'm whimsical like that haha
our taste is shockingly similar I have about 70% of these dolls and the rest are on my wish list 🙌🏻 your display is stunning

I had bought a few of these when they were relatively new way back in 2002-03' when I was a younger goth. 🙂 I'm still Goth, but the Living dead dolls I loved and purchased new were: Sheena, Tragedy (I bought the two variants; purple tissue and the red tissue paper kind. It's been so long ago, that I can't recall which Tragedy came out first. I also bought Lilith and Penny Anarchy. I remember my late Fiance bought me one of the Tragedy dolls when we shopped in Hot Topic for the first (and only) time. We didn't have a Spencer's nor a Hot Topic near us, so this extremely rare trek to find a store was a real treat. I regrettably sold off my first collection in 2010 and wish I hadn't. One of those Tragedy dolls was sentimental to me since my Fiance bought her for me. He knew how special those dolls were. I quit collecting them the same year I bought mine. When they skyrocketed in price, I had to quit. But they creeped out a lot of people who would stop by for a visit. I'm thankful that I am able to replace them and bought two of the mini- dolls. I'm still searching for the full sized Penny (not the Hong Kong version). My Penny had Manic Panic vampire red hair, a gash of blood on her forehead and eerie eyes that followed you. She was gorgeous when brand new. 🦇 Actually they all were pretty dolls the ones I had. 🙂😊
I'm sorry to hear you have to sell your LDD collection due to the times we are living in!! I myself am having to part with some of my dolls too. I have some LDD's. Also some 1970's original vintage Effenbee dolls I must sell 😢! I know your pain
