How Melina got eliminated was bad but her surprise entrance at the 2022 Women's Royal Rumble was nice. Hurricane's surprise entrance was also a nice welcome it wasn't bad.
I just realized that Kharma coming out after Michael Cole, was in a of itself, Karma, since Cole talked about how when Jerry and Booker came in, how they were “taking spots from deserving stars” and he did the same thing 😂😂
At least with 2021 it made sense because with Covid it was probably better to use people already in-house as surprises in the Thunderdome (of course we also got Christian and Carlito so who knows)
Im pretty sure ziggler was intent on leaving the WWE in 2017 so thats why they gave him the US title to convince him to stay, but he still said he was leaving so they had him vacate the US title and the between the time he vacated the title and the rumble, he was given a contract for an absurd amount of money he couldnt pass up, so he decided to resign with the WWE, leading to his rumble return in 2018
Not to mention did a lot of racist stuff like harass Mexicans on the border and gave Eddie Guererro's mother a heart attack in the ring, which happened to Eddie the following week.

Doesn't surprise me that Kevin Nash had a wet fart of a surprise return, given that he drew the most cursed number in Royal Rumble history (look it up)
but personally, they should tread their special suprises with more respect - its annoying that most of them are out within a few seconds - thats just a waste - they did not need to be as dominant as shane, but give them more respect like with Bad Bunny or Knoxville
Honestly, I kind of miss the days when most of the Royal Rumble entrants were announced in advance, and the only surprise was the number they pulled. I think 2-3 surprise entrants (an NXT call-up, a returning legend, and maybe one completely new signing like AJ Styles in 2016) is the right number. And make them be proper showcases for the entrant, rather than a cheap pop followed by a 10-second elimination.

Unpopular opinion: Until Daniel Bryan is eliminated (about half way through the Rumble) the 2015 Rumble is actually really enjoyable. Granted it completely implodes after D-Bry's elimination, but the first half including Boogeyman's spot was good!

Reference Mcafee on last years entry, i genuinely believe he stepped up to fill in Lesnars entrance spot. Without lesnars star power the next best thing would have been a cameo appearance especially at short notice

That return could've been a nice moment for her to finally be in a proper match that didn't end in a matter of 2 minutes and didn't have as a goal stripping your opponent off of its clothes. and well.... you saw what happened instead.

He was in a couple of Rumbles as his previous personas. It's just the JBL character that has only 1 appearance.
