1957 Taormina, Sicilië

In 1950 the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) was founded. EBU conferences were held every year. In 1957 the EBU conference took place in Taormina, Sicily. Arie van den Dool, who works at the Dutch Television Foundation (NTS) took part in this conference. As an enthusiastic moviemaker, he captured Taormina and its surroundings on 8mm film.

In 1950 werd de European Broadcasting Union (EBU) opgericht. Jaarlijks vonden er conferenties van de EBU plaats. In 1957 vond de EBU conferentie plaats in Taormina, Sicilië. Arie van den Dool werkzaam bij de Nederlandse Televisie Stichting (NTS) nam deel aan deze conferentie. Als enthousiast cineast legde hij Taormina en omgeving vast op 8mm film.
