Amazing I enjoy putting my own tips but don't have that expensive machine. Great Great Job. I'm coming down to Florida for a week from NYC how about some priceless lessons????
@@LearnBilliards Thats not that far i guess...I love your videos by the way. I would like to learn how to do tips and maintain my cue and scared to be steered in the wrong direction in getting a lathe
@@LearnBilliards Wow Wow. Thanks a Billion for reading your Subscribers commentaries. I appreciate you replying regarding my request 🙏🎱🎱 I'm truly GRATEFUL.
Great video, the steps are on point. Thank you. Have a question. I have a very similar lathe, at the moment. I use the safety blades. Really like your radius turner. Where can I purchase one.
Clear pad offers a perfectly flat surface for the tip where it meets the ferrule and it prevents any glue from getting in the leather. But personally i think the main reason they do this is because it looks good. Lol
I have this old Smith & Wesson cue that has been in its case for over a decade; do you think the tip is any good and/or is it worth having the tip repaired? It has a titanium furrule and I was told that’s good for a break cue. I haven’t shot in a long time.
Where did you get the tipalizer? I need one or two badly to help center my tips better. Centering my 14mm tips is my biggest problem when installing new tips on my new Cue Smith lathe.
I had this idiot install a tip for me at an expo and he put the glue on, applied the glue accelerator and only let it sit 5 seconds!! I said to him I don’t think that’s going to hold very well and he assured me it would be solid. Sure enough after 7 shots it flew across the table and I went back and had a new one installed by him for free. What a dork. How do you think the glue will adhere in 5 seconds 🤣😂 he had to be new
