Thought to myself "ah I enjoy difficult jobs like this, always satisfying when you get done" then I remembered you're dealing with armored 185 and I think my arms would have melted just looking at it 😂 😂 love the video dude.

Nice job Tony. Your reputation just went up a few notches after that.

Watching this made me really glad we don't have to deal with armored multi-core cables on this side of the Atlantic. The largest multi-core we commonly use is 4/0 SER (3x107mm2+1x67mm2, 116mm dia) riser cable with the conductors spiral twisted rather than compressed together. I know how hard that stuff is to bend in tight spots having used my truck's scissors jack to do it once between floor joists. On the other hand, the kind of engineering challenge you showed in this video gets my heart pumping as an electrician ;) Nice work!

Cheers my man👍🏻. It's a vastly different set of criteria that we work to. Strange when you think about it really.

    Hi Tony,
Another cracking video! Start putting drafts together for DB cabinets. Installations would be a lot easier when a talented jointer designs them. ‘Blue Heater’ etc gave me a good laugh 😂 Keep up the excellent work bud! Catch you on the next one. 👍⚡️

So the left hand didn't talk with the right hand when they ordered equipment vs the guys installing the cable. You need about 10 more meters of cable to work with! 😁👍🍺

Terrible isn't it!! I have noticed that it's getting worse, not better. I cut off about 300mm from the ends of both cables when I was done. 😳😳
