Japanese Nemophila is flower(Nemophila = Baby blue eyes). Every Friday is NEMOPHILA Day. Their official channel drops cover songs and every song has a NEMOPHILA taste. Last week's K-ON! song was also good with a heavy sound. They still have few original songs, but NEMOPHILA fans are enjoying Friday.
That ending is the most pure form of headbanging fuel that I am aware of. I just wish it was longer, but I can't think of a better ending to any song ever.
People always insist on how versatile Mayu's voice is, and about her great technique. And of course that's right, but for me the most important thing is that whatever the singing style she has an incredibly pleasant and catchy vocal timbre. She could read me my tax return and I would found it lovely.
@@PurpleDracos Did you, really? I heard that song once again right now, and I don't think she's struggling there with the high notes; in my opinion, she's got control over her voice throughout the performance. But in the end it's all sort of an interpretation, and I am fine with yours.

Compared to the guys that have sung for Helloween over the years it did not sound like she was going to risk pushing to hit quite the same highs, although re-listening to the original they go high but don't go amazingly high until almost the end of the song. At the end of the day doing a cover is about doing the original justice but adding your own take (and I always like their take and feeling of added fun) as there is no point doing a carbon copy as we have the original.

Nemophila is my favorite band right now. As Akifumi wrote bellow, On April 2nd, Nemophila uploaded a music video on TH-cam that covers the ending theme song "Don't say" lazy "" of the legendary hit anime "K-ON!". The number of viewers has increased considerably in the next few days. Unfortunately, the original author of "K-ON!" told that he stopped writing, so we can't hope for a sequel. The food-themed songs and the opening and closing theme songs by the main character band "After School Tea Time" were Hardcore punk. I think this anime had a big influence on the students at that time, and 11 years later, it has produced a lot of girls hard rock bands.
Where did you see that the author Kakifly died?? I can't find anything. I think you may be mixing it up with the cover the did just before "Butter-fly" from the Digimon soundtrack it was sung by Wada Koji who died from nasopharynx cancer in 2016.

I love this band so much. Just talent across the board. This is the song that made me find this band, and i've been listening to them almost nonstop since. I really love mayu's vocals as well, but what I love most about her and her vocals is that she has like the perfect attitude/style to match them. It makes for an awesome entertainment value, and she will be a joy to watch when they start doing tours. Also, just gotta give a lil shoutout to the drummer...my goodness. If y'all ever get bored or have some extra time, she has her own youtube channel, with full videos of her perspective on the songs Nemophila has done, plus some solo stuff she has done. (she's been doing youtube for a while) Highly recommend checking it out sometime, fun to watch her do her thing.

Wrong Thumbnail. That is Lipstick the band's lead singer Mayu was in when she was known as Sindy. She left the band and did her solo project "The Mayu Sessions" which then became Nemophila when all the members realized they were good together. How would you mix that up, I don't know since the pic only had 4 members and this band has 5. As for guitarist Saki's painted Amp.. Well it's been in every one of their videos you reacted to,.. I've seen some pushback against this band--against a lot of the Japanese acts, and the female Japanese acts specifically--from people who seem to think they're not "progressive" enough or something. I'll be honest, the people pushing back sound a bit bitter--dudes who have doing music for a while and their objection seems to be "why all the fuss for these bands, I can do just as well." And I hate to say it, it sounds like jealousy, and it sounds like accusations that "they're only popular because they're women," and insinuations that people who enjoy these bands are only s*mps. While I think they are entitled to their opinion, I really don't trust their musical opinion when that's the attitude they take. Maybe, and hear me out, maybe the reason these women are having success when their detractors are not is because they are just doing it better, and it's not at all related to the musicians' gender? I don't think any of this should be a part of the discussion when discussing musicianship, but I've seen enough comments and critiques made with questionable motivations and judgement that it needs to be brought up, because people who are claiming to be objective are not really being objective, and that's not valid criticism; that's WHY it needs to be pointed out.
Thanks for bringing this up. Definitely something that need to be addressed. Honestly having a tough time putting together the right words for my thoughts on this. I do agree with you for sure though. Talent and good music will speak for itself regardless of gender.

Wrong Thumbnail. That is Lipstick the band's lead singer Mayu was in when she was known as Sindy. She left the band and did her solo project "The Mayu Sessions" which then became Nemophila when all the members realized they were good together. How would you mix that up, I don't know since the pic only had 4 members and this band has 5. As for guitarist Saki's painted Amp.. Well it's been in every one of their videos you reacted to,.. You gotta lay off the Sauce and jumping around not paying attention to the videos you're supposedly to be reacting to lol
Yup messed that one up. I updated it. When looking up pictures for the thumbnail that was one of the first that came up. It said something along the lines of "New band Nemophilia" so I went with it. I'll be more careful next time

I've seen some pushback against this band--against a lot of the Japanese acts, and the female Japanese acts specifically--from people who seem to think they're not "progressive" enough or something. I'll be honest, the people pushing back sound a bit bitter--dudes who have doing music for a while and their objection seems to be "why all the fuss for these bands, I can do just as well." And I hate to say it, it sounds like jealousy, and it sounds like accusations that "they're only popular because they're women," and insinuations that people who enjoy these bands are only s*mps. While I think they are entitled to their opinion, I really don't trust their musical opinion when that's the attitude they take. Maybe, and hear me out, maybe the reason these women are having success when their detractors are not is because they are just doing it better, and it's not at all related to the musicians' gender?
I don't think any of this should be a part of the discussion when discussing musicianship, but I've seen enough comments and critiques made with questionable motivations and judgement that it needs to be brought up, because people who are claiming to be objective are not really being objective, and that's not valid criticism; that's WHY it needs to be pointed out.
Thanks for bringing this up. Definitely something that need to be addressed. Honestly having a tough time putting together the right words for my thoughts on this. I do agree with you for sure though. Talent and good music will speak for itself regardless of gender.
