I love how Derek Prince basically leads you into the wilderness with his messages, you may not nowhere you are at or where you are headed with the topic, but he is an expert guide and will inform you from beginning to end. This man of God is the ultimate teacher. If you dont understand in the beginning you will be wiser by the end trust me. But all thanks is mostly indebted to Christ and the Prohpets. Was told by another Christian recently that the people of my prior conservative church background make “way too much of the cross”. Was a very discouraging comment. I just don’t know how a Christian could say or believe that.
Without the Cross of Christ, we might as well just embrace Religion like the rest of the world who has found "one way or another" through their religion to "reach out" to God, the Cross of Christ is an instrument through which God in His LOVE reached out to us so we can by identification and baptism, die with His son ,be buried with Him then be RAISED UP TOGETHER WITH HIM, and so we now have a relationship with Him, so He can express His eternal life through us, that is Christianity it's not a religion. No Cross No GRACE,......Galatians 2:20 says for we were crucified with Christ to the Cross, that both the old man, the expressions of sin, and the influences of the world will no longer have dominion over us,.......so that the life we now live in the flesh we live by the faith of the Son of God who loved us and gave himself for us. Then I dont understand. A woman falls under the law of her husband. Sarah was viewed by Peter as a Holy woman, and the only Holy woman, of what I could gather in the whole Bible, based on worldly principles of honoring her husband. Not even Mary, Jesus's mother was viewed as per my understanding, as Holy, specially when Jesus asked his disciples, who is my mother? Joseph no where in sight with Jesus's crucifixion. If a married woman falls under the law of her husband, and the husband under the law of the sin (Moses's law), and the husband and wife are one flesh and one spirit,yet stand separately in front of the Chair of Jesus, under what law does the wife, then fall if according to Peter, the only "law" for Holyness, is honoring your husband? Maybe my Afrikaans Bible are very different to the English, but I don't see how or where woman forms part of the Body of Christ if the women are suppose to form part of the Body of the Church, thus the Bride. Not understanding how this is mixed up, between male and female if the bride means female and bridegroom, means male. The only verse I could find is that their is no husband AND wife, not husband OR wife. Now for me there is a big difference between the words AND and OR. My Afrikaans Bible refers to AND, not OR, which to me means that basically, the SPIRIT of the married couple are separated, although still married in the flesh, if God is working with one or the other. Not sure how that works. Maybe I am understanding this all wrong. But a married woman falling under the law of her husband, and if only even 1 commandment are broken, ALL are broken, then the wife are also, automatically lost, in my view, Then how does any woman fall under the law of the saved/salvation or dead with Christ, while married? While marriage is the one thing God continuesly shows, even in Revelations, the "spiritual marraige" (when Jesus excepts the Kingdom - the church) of the church and Jesus vs the physical between a man and a woman, again male and female.
For me talking in languages always was abstraction . I got it that people says something but they dont understand what do they say. So if I don't understand what do they say and they either so what is the AIM talk by tongues ?
