We are indeed straddling the world of tradition which is slowly fading into obscurity alongside the West’s decay with each passing year of global homogenization and social hyper-liberalization
This is an incredible inspiration. Earlier this year I began telling a story with my friends, and the story began with dreams of Leviathan. The whole creation myth is based on the concepts from the dreams, and this album has inspired at least a dozen new ideas developing the world we're creating together. For me it's providence to have found this, because this story really means a lot to me.
Master of the Dark Dungeon inspired a one shot duet module I wrote where you basically assume the overmind of the dungeon after defeating it and liberating the soul of the previous occupant. "YOU are the Master now!"
Man, for some strange reason this brought some Final Fantasy 9 memories back, which turned into childhood nostalgia. I can't believe some people drop this kind of gems on the internet for us to enjoy. Thanks!
The saddest witch is probably one of my favorite tracks ive heard in many years. I really love how catchy the foreground melody is, with the backdrop of melancholy. Such a nice sound mix! Edit: Black hole moon blows my mind lmfao
I really needed this backnin 2018. I was going through a super heavy phase as a writer where everything needed to written about castles, moss-covered walls, mythical beasts, witchcraft, brave knights wielding mighty swords, mottled blue short trolls with golden hair. Maybe some 8 bit themed wizards and witches and other 8 bit aesthetics under medieval fantasy.
Is the thumbnail image the elven king under mind control from the green dragon - warping his forest kingdom and being thought dead from DragonLance? I never saw the art for that it’s very cool
Oooooh. Yes, sure. I used to be a Dungeon Master (a mysterious look into the distance). I'm still creating my world ... Someday we will gather again at the same table
