Hi Steve, New subscriber to your channel too. brought back memories you opening the box did this model took over a year loved very day, hour and minute. Hi Stevie D's, I am new subscriber to your channel, Really looking forward to seeing this model come together, I have just completed the Revell 1/150 scale Black Pearl and as my first model build i must say i really enjoyed it. I will be following this build to see how it comes together as it could be my next model build, Thanks and Happy Modlelling
I,m very impressed at how good it looks Stevie. I love the old ships and have been thinking about getting this for a while. What put me off was the fact that the rat-lines would be thick and over scaled and the sails would be crap. Those sails look fine and I reckon with some weathering would look great. The rat-lines are good too. Well impressed with the overall detail and deffo worth a look. Looking forward to the build bud.
Ahoy Stevie Beautiful kit and A Beautiful Video A Treat Of A kit I Have the Same kit I got From Freddy The Black Pearl Same Kit Very Simplified Appose To Other Rigged Sail Vessels Merry Christmas buddy you will Enjoy Building This One FrANKIE dAY
Thank you for all your videos on the pirate ship Stevie! It's a great help for a beginner like me. I have a question: do you paint them first and then assemble or the other way around? Thanks in advance for any feedback! 😊
Thanks very much you are very welcome for your comments. Painting parts, I think its very much a personal thing and what your building. With the ship like the cannons I made them first and then painted them, The large pieces of the ship were painted first and then glued into the hull. I pained the hull after it was all together, I hope that helps :)
