Its one of the reasons they murdered Gadaffi. He made electricity free. He also gave everyone a cut of the oil revenue. If you wanted to be a farmer he gave you a land grant. But the main reason was he created the gold dinar. In the 50s when actual labour created the nhs and nationalised power and transport we all paid for the construction of dams and generating plants. We owned it, the public. The Tories sold it to their proxies. Who give them jobs then gifts of shares of it. See how it works?

Nikola Tesla invented AC which is the alternating current still used today by National grid to supply homes and businesses with generated electricity.
Tesla next proposed wirelessly transmitting electricity from earth and sky (atmosphere) to peoples homes, like Wi-Fi but his work went unfinished and big business would not endorse it yea because they couldn’t meter it to make money. Tesla died in poverty but he is the inventor without whom we’d still be using DC (direct current) and need a multitude more wires to get candle like bulbs alone, we’d probably not have invented TVs yet or only ones with tiny flickering ghostly images. 😂😂

If you write to energy and water companies on the same lines as with Council tax, you need not be touched any more for their fraudulent double charge scam. There is no contract signed in wet ink by two living, breathing men or women. If they do pursue payment legally, add the letters VC (Vi Coactus) in front of you signature And - in blue ink. Colour your signature in red. And align it right margin flush - to denote your status as a creditor; not a debtor.

I had my meter changed for a hundred pounds, and when I cancelled my 'contract' with them, I discovered that they had over 700 pounds of mine in credit, so they had to give it back to me. They are nothing more than a credit company, they do absolutely nothing for fraudulently and deceitfully claiming that they supply something, then take even more, which they keep until you claim it back. That is why the so called 'bills' are difficult to understand, and say 'credit'. There is no exchange of equity, in other words, in contractual law, one party gives something of value in return for something else of value. Fair exchange. there is none, so it is void because it is fraudulent. Also, how can we be sure that the meters are calibrated to the same amount, and what exactly is a unit?

Yes. They are committing fraud by virtue of the fact that they are only a collection agent; not the supplier. When fraud comes in it kills everything. Just to edit, I'm happy that works for you and maybe it might be something others want to try.

      @AbsolvedSoul ปีที่แล้ว +80

@@LulusAllotment Sorry but you are incorrect. If you get a "notice" you cannot just ignore it, or you agree to the terms/claim in that notice. "conditional acceptance" doesn't just work for me it is how contract law works. You are not agreeing or contracting at all, you are negotiating. Someone makes a claim against you but you ONLY "accept" liability for their claim when the "conditions" you've negotiate are met. ONLY when your conditions are met do you agree to anything.
Please look it up, I have saved family and friends thousands basically just asking for proof of their claim, they cannot prove it so there is no liability, it is that simple. I'm so confident I'm currently setting up a charity to help people fight these thugs anyway I can.

Their was someone in his flat previously who had not paid the last bill and he was being hounded to pay. Until that was supposedly sorted they would supply him with gas. In the middle of winter he didn’t have heating apart from a radiator I had given him. The council tax had been sending him high bills telling him he had to pay and when I questioned it they cut the bill in half. When I was a kid my gran did the clothes washing in a gas heated cauldron and a mangle to squeeze the water out of the clothes before they went on the drying line either outside or in a rack on the kitchen ceiling. The house was only heated buy 2 small fires, coal at the time, in the back and front downstairs rooms. After ignoring many letters threatening "further action" i finally received a letter threatening a visit from "agents" with a right of entry warrant and a locksmith for which i will be charged (even included a price list) so i fabricated and installed a castle gate style door bar so they couldn't gain entry by drilling the lock. i needn't have bothered, three vans arrived including a locksmith but made no attempt to gain entry after i ignored them knocking. They all left after putting a note through the door saying they "may! come back (again) with (another) warrant and locksmith. I have to confess that I became fearful having changed my meters in May of last year. My house was entered by Haste Revenue Protection Services on 20th June this year. This particular company are regularly used by Octopus Energy. I was out. They came with a dog handler, a guy with a riot shield, a locksmith, etc. etc. They left loads of paperwork in my kitchen. They stole my own meters together with the main house electricity fuse and the on/off emergency handle for the gas meter. This company use fake warrants and are total criminals. So yes, I have been apprehensive since then, what is in the post, the big white vans in my road, etc. etc. It seems that this particular company have done this to so many...

It was actually reading the citizens advice on bills that gave me the knowledge that I could stop paying and there was nothing they could do. It tells you on CAB site in so many words that if you cannot pay yr bill they have to come to some arrangement with you. And that goes on to another law where you cannot pay what you cannot afford. It’s also not illegal to be poor. Loads of loopholes that I’ve used and my gas and electricity has been free for almost 2 years and will be free forever now that I know this. When you think about it it’s shocking how many times they have conned many into believing their lies and deceit about who should pay what. (Energy companies that is) I have even heard utility companies buy up old debt and they get this back by making you think you are paying for your energy. Be interested to know how true that is? The thing that always puzzled me was when you changed supplier the electric or gas still came in the same way.there was no switching done( only via supplier name).the alarm bells were ringing then.

It’s a three part model, supposedly more competitive, introduced to break monopolies. Part one, the generator. Part two, the distribution grid. Part three, your billing company. Part two has the highest profit margin of any listed company in the UK.
When regional monopolies dominated the doctoral thesis tariffs never existed. By splitting the model into three it created three profit centres that couldn’t cross subsidise to bring lower consumer prices. That’s the issue.
Free energy is being a parasite on those paying for it. The model needs reversing back but that’d expose the massive trend for non jobs which keeps unemployment down. And management bonuses. The ‘beneficiaries’ want a rigged system.

What you discuss doesn't make sense, why replace a meter with another meter if you will not be paying for energy going forward?
I have checked more and found this illegal, under certain Acts of Parliament, the nominated supplier is entitled under the law to take you to court for theft and give you a possible 5 year sentence, fine and recoup all charges of energy used. Don't do this!!!

If its registered to your address, they have transferred ownership to you. You own it. If its not on the title deed in the charges register section, you own it.
For example, I had a title deed saying western power has an asset (transformer) on my land and I had to give easement to Any works on that transformer. The transformer was long gone from the property, but was not removed from the title deed. This is a perfect example of an owned asset that doesn't belong to you with full disclosure on your title deed to identify the owner of an asset on your land/property.
The moral of the story is, if it's not on the charges register section on your title deed, you own it. Hope this helps, Richard. I also have proof of this title deed. When they say the meters are registered to your address, say thank you for confirming I am the owner. (register is to transfer ownership).

  • @BarryFlo58
    @BarryFlo58 ปีที่แล้ว +19

Not quite as easy as that, if no supply companies supply your energy and their equipment is removed then the property is deemed as an idle supply and the mains fuse cut-out is sealed up. These idle supplies are still checked from time to time and any connections found on them are deemed an illegal abstraction as to gain access to the connection point you would have to cut and remove the seal. It used to be part of my job to inspect idle supplies which normally arose from properties being unused or two properties like shops joined together and only one supply being used and even supplies that had previously been disconnected for illegal abstraction. These were eventually disconnected via the mains cable being cut underground and would cost you a lot of money in court. All supply companies have their details on every meter as it is owned by them and the distribution companies just own the supply cable coming to the property. Add to that, the supply companies pay for the electricity to the distribution companies and this rate varies throughout the day being cheaper at low consumption times and more expensive at peak consumption times but the consumer does not receive these cuts, and no doubt when everyone has a smart meter which is what the government wants and has made it a condition for the supplier's license that everyone will have one, then they will start charging you more at peak times and if you use too much energy then you would not comply with the carbon neutral agenda and be punished by having your power limited.

      Clearly missing something hear.
The National Grid ensure that there is Electricity in the Network to the point of use, and for electricity to
arrive at the Point of use / consumption, it has to travel down a National Network of Wires and cables.
These are all owned by National Grid who I believe own the wire up to the point of
      entry into the Electric Metre.
As an Electricity User, changing the Metre, may well as the lady says, remove the ''Broker'' [Eon, British Gas etc]
but when the National Grid ''disconnects' the cable from their Grid to your home from say in the
street or the road, so they do not trespass, and which you do not own, then your Electricity supply is cut off, period.
Most Domestic ''Reconnection'' Fees are around 250.00 plus being a lot more in many cases,
as well as any ''Unpaid Electricity''.
If there is Law that says ''you as an Electricity user have a right to connect'' then that may well alter matters,
but this concept fails when the cable bringing the electricity to your metre is terminated.
This whole concept is born on that the National Grid has no reason to Terminate
your Supply for Non Payment, because they have already been paid which sounds wonderful when said
in an interview, but will never work in the real world.
The Government has paid Billions to France for their Generated Electricity to be feed under the
channel in large cables and into the UK National Grid.
So not only are you totally powerless to stop the cable to your metre being disconnected, i.e no electric,
but you will have a very large fee to reconnect it.

Telephones, electricity, water, your own house - As been discussed here by Richard and his guest, all these have already been paid for through our taxes or purchased with our own after taxed money.
Utility electricity companies, telephone, water companies and property or council taxes, are these entities all illegally billing us where everything has already been paid for. Going on the above, I, personally could set myself up as a utility company and start billing everybody who accepts me as a utility, even though I'm not the supplier. We're being ripped off and we need to all wake up. The standing charges are the most hideous thing they do to the poorest in society, they make it so that trying to save by being frugal is a waste of time. Imagine paying standing charges towards a local pub or restaurant you may never use, it is so immoral, all businesses have overheads and these should be charged within whatever you buy, so just like a pint of beer you are partly paying the staff and the running costs, it should be added to the price of an energy unit, this would also penalise those who waste energy.

    2. Can anyone disconnect my electricity or gas supplies after I change my meters?

I llike the term "billing agents"; I use it all the time. Another way of looking at this is through Contract Law. The selling of utility services by a billing agents is a sales contract and under contract law in Scotland, “Freedom to Contract” is paramount. “The law of contract falls into the category of voluntary obligations because the parties must agree to enter into a contract voluntarily; it cannot be imposed upon them.” (Source: “Scottish Law Essentials” - Third Edition - by Tikus Little.). Also, reference “General Principles of Scots Law” -Seventh Edition - by Edith A Marchall - Chapter 9 page 221.
Their Terrms and Conditions are effectively an offer of a contract which the recipient is the offeree who has a right acceptance, rejection or modification but the billing agents take the view that their terms and conditions are a deal done, which is wrong. The offer of a contract is not a deal done and a rejection means the proposed contract is void.

For the non technical. A smart meter usually uses a grid network (wifi) which allows the meter to connect to the next nearest one to your location. This forms a daisy chain which eventually leads to a base station, like with mobile phones, which relays the info to the broker. The meter is relaying (switching) 240v, so the main fuse needs to be removed before you touch any of the connections, Usually the meter has tamper switches under the covers. So they will recieve tamper signal if you remove any of them. You get companies like SEEKA who will visit properties where a tamper signal has been received from.

Same as when the ‘state’ of Israel cut off Palestine, it was a war crime. Smart meters that are pay as you go are used to get people to cut themselves off through poverty…they are an abomination.

In Ontario, Canada, your electricity charges, pay the National Grid for electricity generation, electricity transmission and electricity distribution, including sub-station, transformer equipment, poles, wires and of course the meter.
All though not in Ontario, Canada anymore, the “Supplier/Retailer is just a third party, who buys electricity from the National Grid and sell it to the Consumer for a profit.

although I'm all for what Richard and Kayles are doing - I'm afraid that you're correct,, it's a basic business model. The power stations don't want to deal with millions of Mr Jones' so they sell 'wholesale' to brokers who give jobs to people sending out bills
