Hello, I'm from St. Petersburg, you have very cool videos, I've been living in St. Petersburg all my life (I'm 25 years old) and have not yet been to a large number of museums, or I was in them as a child, I felt ashamed, although I I know the history of my country very well. Saint-Petersburg is an endless series of palaces, cathedrals and museums. Having them all on the city’s and federal budget balances must be costly. Billions of dollars, I suppose. Keeping this all in a good shape, maintaining buildings, taking care of art, paying to hundreds of staff, doing research on art and history for these museums. It can be as expensive as a budget of a small European country, like Luxembourg or Lichtenstein.
That is true! However, most of the museums are not free, although the tickets are very cheap. They definitely operate at a loss, especially during covid. I'd also like to see how much it costs! Thank you for watching Erdem!
I knew of the palace but the art and that it is a museum. The Royal Winter Palace gets all the attention in regards all if the art and treasures it holds.

A walk around the city in any weather, day or night, at a bird's-eye height is provided by a new type of transport "self-moving sidewalk". Read TH-cam: "I bring fantasy to life."
Poverty in what? Every citizen has a health insurance policy by birthright, mandatory. On it you can do free tests, many free operations. Free ambulance call for everyone. The doctor comes home to the children if the child is ill, all this is free. Mothers are given maternity leave to take care of a child for 3 years while maintaining a place at work. As well as maternity capital in the amount of 8.5 thousand dollars upon the birth of a child. With this money in some regions you can buy a whole house with a hectare of land. You can get higher education and master's degree for free. I personally received it myself, studied on a budget 3 times in total. College, higher education and graduate school, didn't pay for anything. I want to emphasize that medicine is free for every citizen, unless, of course, the cost of medicines is exorbitant money in the amount of a million dollars or more. These are basic opportunities that are given to every person, regardless of his status. A person can live in a village, far from the capital, but at the same time he has the same opportunity as any resident of the capital to enter the best university in Russia and study there for free.
Serfdom and chattle slavery are not the same thing. So forming your ideas of the Russian empire based on American slave trade is incorrect and outright ignorant.
@@MsMilagrita No, you ought to learn about history. There were no differences between serfdom and slavery in Russia, as they could even be freely traded. Although the serfs were "liberated" during the Yusupov's time, this even worsened their situation in practice.
@@Breakfast_of_Champions honey, I know more about history, specifically Eastern European history, than you ever will. Serfs could only be "traded" without their land starting from Catherine's reign and even then it was not the direct slave trade. I ahve no idea why you have to cling to that idea but it is simply untrue.
@@MsMilagrita Well being a slave means being someone's property. Notice I mentioned Bezos whose workers aren't free to take a leak. And stop being so hysterical, your american slavery isn't so important or unique in the scheme of things. Especially dealing with it in extremist ways like is happening now is very wrong.
