The bright scarlet blood
Flooded over the towns and plains of our
motherland Kampuchea,
The blood of our great workers and farmers
The men and women who fight for our revolution.
Their blood produced a great anger and the courage

On the 17th of April, under the revolutionary banner,
Their blood freed us from the state of slavery!

That wonderful victory had greater significance
Than the Angkor period!

The song is very calm, different from the reality that happened in Cambodia at that time

I think Cambodia (1979 - 1992) anthem is a bit better than current cambodia national anthem
It sounds so calm and peacefully.
Cambodian Genocide was worst and most horrific genocide than the 1971 genocide happened in my country.

Merl sat tee touy actually have nothing to do with pol pot a song is so much different what pol pot did a song actually talk about animal (they compared animal to human ) like frogs sell drugs they just want to talk shit about who sell drugs and more cus it happens before pol pot have . I'm not sure it just what the song mean (the song sing by Khmer Sorin they have a nice accent most of them is singer cus a alot of us love their accent specially when they sing ) if I'm wrong just tell me cus it what I know ❤
