The diecast metal transformers were awesome. They were heavier and sturdier. and because they were metal you got a much better paint job on them. You could hit your friend with an Optimus prime or SoundWave and they would run home crying. now if you hit your friend with one of your transformers it'll explode into a thousand pieces and they will laugh at you for being stupid.
You do sound kinda dumb. This is a collectible, not a toy. The actual toys that Hasbro sells which are plastic? If your kid is breaking those the problems aren’t the toys, it’s the kid.
It always amazed me how much engineering went into building these, making them totally transformable from their vehicle to robot forms. It's gotta be ALOT of intellectual capacity, just to imagine viable methods for making an arm that can swing out and be tucked away, when it's in vehicle form. Let ALONE creating an entire workable product.
