Rascal vans are everywhere in Gibraltar because it's such a tiny place!I used to use my boss's rascal tipper van in Lanzarote. It was great, hydraulic rams for the tipper!! Lethal to drive with a shit load of sand in the back though!!
Ben, can I humbly sugest a topic for your next pod cast- what do you think of car incarnations using old classic names to sell new versions like the new MGs Vs the old MGs the new Fords against the old Fords (Carpri incarnatuon etc.) Do you think they are cashing in on a classic car memorise or are they doing right by bringing them back?
I did that helicopter escape course with the RN, the one I went in was like a steel porta cabin with grated floor and ceiling, it had perspex windows that you pushed out. It had different seats around the cabin the one I was sat on was a three seater with a canvas back rest with a pole in it. I was positioned in the middle, my role was on the command Brase brase brase position my hand on the perspex window and lean forward, the two guys either side of me then pulled the back rest pole out of the clips and after we hit the bottom wait 3 seconds for the none existant rotors to stop push the glass out and go out of the window. We watched the Royal Marines do it and it was like a olympic Syncronised swim session, unlike a bunch of hung over Matelots, i was next to one who was a shit nervous swimmer so opted for the red helmet so the divers could look out for him🤔 he managed to wind me pulling the back rest out as soon as we hit the water then as i was going through the window i was kicking him in the head 😅 it was that deep i wasn't sure i was going the right way 😂. The worst thing is I never got to go in a bloody helicopter 😅
Another great vlog try watching by Dawn's early light a film about how close we get to nuclear war my father-in-law was in Fleet air arm 49 50s they had a dragon fly helicopter but still used a sea otter for saving down flight crew's and I remember in early 70 RAF still had rescue launch at Bridlington.
What the hell .. Why has it taken 22 episodes to discover that Mr. Spoon used to be called Black Thunder Ben, while at the same time Glynn was cling filming ham to his legs and ironing Mars bars flat into his jacket...I'm off for a 10am sandwich to calm down 😂
