How do I prepare my child for an EEG?

When your child needs to have an EEG to check their brain waves it can be helpful to prepare them through pretend play. This video by the What? Why? Children in Hospital charity shows how you could play with your child the day or morning before you go to hospital. By using coloured strings, stickers and a pasta box they prepare Lewis the lion for his EEG. This video with pretend hospital play is aimed at younger children and those at an early stage of development.
