The best way to describe Norma is colorful she maybe has a rough life and all the bad thing that happen but she give the show color, all turn so gray blue and cold when she is not there
Yes! We definitely felt her being gone in this one! Everything felt so cold and grey for sure

Its strange but this episode felt sad and heavy. It shows how powerful an actress Vera is. It wasn't easy watching s5 with only "mother ".

It's simply not the same without Norma 😞. That being said, season 5 is still really good. Looking forward to seeing your reactions. You guys are great and for the most part, I agree with pretty much everything you say.

Nia I’m sure you were told this by now 3 years later, but you missed something creepy when Norman was at the morgue looking at his dead mother’s body! You were looking down at your notes and Chris saw it but you didn’t.
I think this season was my favorite. The great scenes with Norman and Dr. Edwards were incredible good. Norma finally opening up to Romero resulting in some really nice scenes between them and then leading to much greater frustration when she pushes him away. And you are right, without Norma the show has a different feel, but at least we will have some Mother in the final season.
This definitely has been our favorite so far. It had some really sweet moments but also frustrated us! Which was just great writing
I think Norman blacked out when he killed Norma that’s why he’s confused and trying to revive her or not accept that she’s dead
I remember being mad when she died. I loved Norma style her dresses, uugh then he kills her!!! I think I watched the rest of it just mad and now each time I see Vera on anything else I go "Mother" jajaja
LOL Norma was amazing and we weren't sure how much we were going to like the show after she died. She did a great job as "Mother" too though and we're happy with the whole show overall. Not sure how we'll watch any of their work in the future and not separate them from these characters since their roles were so iconic!
Come on chris you’re being hard on Romero if he deserves to go to prison and be punished then Dylan should too, he killed 3 people remember? and worked in drug business with bad people he’s no saint 😏😏

Heh. Nia can't accept that Norma is dead, but criticizes Norman cos he can't accept that Norma is dead. I think Norman is hard to read this episode because he is confused himself.
LOL I was a big contradiction this episode! Looking back, I also rooted for Romero to punch Norman and a few seconds later got frustrated because he did just that
