Paul was an absolutely brilliant character in Eastenders. And the actor who played him, Gary Beadle, was an outstanding actor - I don't think it's an exaggeration to say he's one of the best actors to ever appear in Eastenders. Certainly he is one of the most underrated. His portrayal of Paul from start to finish, in every storyline he was involved, was absolutely magnificent.
He was also Clyde Langer's dad in Sarah Jane Adventures

He got into trouble with Andy I think it was and he was leaving in a taxi but it was a hit man driving who ended up killing him

Angel Hudson should've stayed when Paul died. angel been arrested for stabbing and killing Paul onscreen while saving Patrick Trueman.

The actor wants out. Eastenders and any other soap was hard work back then, it was probably draining playing these characters (Steve Owen, Johnny Allen etc)
If Paul had been in it when Lucas held everyone hostage back in 2010, he'd have battered him.

They could do it so Paul told Patrick what was gonna happen and that he has a plan to get away. So when Patrick has to identify the body he has to pretend that its Paul and the best way was for patrick to kick off at andy so andy thinks pauls definitely dead. Paul decides not to return to the square because it's better people think hes dead. That's why he would have been gone for so long too

Paul is a beast. Would probably beat Phil 4/10 times if they actually fought, he would demolish people like Kush, Keanu, Stuart, Martin and other hardmen. He would beat everyone right now apart from Phil and I think he would edge Jack IMO. I am not the only one who thinks this, I remember you said he would beat Jack until he beat Fraser. Fraser showed no sign of pain just panic just seeming as though he didn't want to be stabbed. Honestly tell me how you think Kush would beat Paul, his punches on Brian, Garry and Anthony were lethal considering they are massive compared to him 5'10 he is they are over 6ft

Brilliant character, so much depth, and played to perfection by Gary Beadle. Shame they killed him off... imagine the extended Trueman family, with Denise, Chelsea, Kim etc, having him on hand, adding that extra edge, to though would they have become so close to Patrick?. Disservice to the show and a fine actor the ending to his story, though credit to his last scene, at least that did stay true to the character facing his fate, at least.

@Qasim Hussain I'm not sure if Dennis could have beaten Paul tbh. Paul never lost a fight and easily battered guys twice his size like Gary, Anthony and Brian who was ex-military.
@Qasim Hussain Dennis and Grant already had a proper 1 on 1 fight in 2005 and Grant overpowered him with ease. If it wasn't for that scene, Phil would be the toughest EastEnders character ever.
Phil did get the better of Dennis more than once but he never dealt with him the way Grant did. And Brian is the guy at 4:44 who got battered by Paul. I would say:
Ray would beat Andrew but it would be a close fight, they both only had 1 hardman scene anyways which were Ray throwing Michael Moon across the street and Andrew pushing Jay to the floor.
Grant would batter both of Qadim's henchmen without barely any trouble.
Jack would have lost to those Santa thugs. In a 1 on 1, Jack would have battered both of them but one of those thugs seemed like a skilled fighter, the one who knocked down Vincent.

And Dennis tried to punch Grant in 2005 but Grant ducked, picked Dennis up and slammed him on a piano. They didn't trade punches because Grant didn't allow him too. Grant would have put Dennis in hospital if Sharon didn't stop him.
Dennis would have beat Tony Isaacs and all of his henchmen in a 1 on 1. Dennis vs the black henchmen would have been a close fight considering that guy was a tank and bigger than anyone I've seen in EE, but Dennis's speed, power and boxing skills would have given him the edge.
The only Coronation Street characters who would give Grant a good fight are Phelan and Luke, but Grant would have them both. He would easily batter everyone else in Corrie including the overrated Jim McDonald

No worries, it is brilliant, there's been too much of Paul missing on youtube over the years. Yh but you didn't include much from those clips so should be fine anyway. I didn't know about Paul's falling outs with Asif or that first time he pinned Anthony to the wall, that scene where he threatened those guys at the cash machine was brilliant and I like that scene with him in the cafe, shame he didn't show that kind of aggression with Andy and Angel and I've seen that clip at the end before but never realised Patrick had hit Paul in the face. Great stuff again mate. Just as I uploaded it, I realised I left a scene out so decided to delete it and reupload it today :)

Paul was a great brother in a way. When they were younger, Anthony got drunk and drove a car and crippled a young girl. Paul took the blame and went to prison. So in their scenes Anthony felt like he owed Paul. So whatever Paul did, Anthony stuck up for him, not just because Paul was his brother, but because Paul spent a while in prison to protect him.
