One little tip I would recommend maybe carving a little spot underneath for the battery switch to go instead because you will need to swap out batteries every so often as well as have easy access for on/off functions :) however that is a little more work especially if you don’t have carving tools. PS thank you so much for sharing this video!
Just wanted to say you are a totally underrated youtube artist you deserve more love keep up the good work and thank you for the amazing tutorials . Love from India
Excellent work, could you possibly leave a link to the fairy lights, the ones I've bought the led's are very close together making it difficult to bend them up individually, many thanks
So far this is the best, most comprehensive tute on mushroom lamps I've seen! Thank you, I am now ready to put down my polymer clay and sculpt with my glue gun! Never thought I'd be saying that 😂! Btw, that is absolutely charming 👍🥰
How long did your lights last? Ours lasted maybe 3-4 days. For those stumbling on this now I recommend gluing the battery pack with the screw side out so you can change the batteries out 😅
That is an excellent tip yes! The battery packs on mine are accessible but yeah, they die pretty quick if you leave it on all day. I try to keep mine on for just a couple hours at a time and so far I've only had to change the batteries once.
If they are all one string I wouldn't recommend cutting through the electronics since the lights might not work after and you have exposed wire on the end.

Can I cut the lights so there are less lights?
