For fitting books, I love Jenny Rushmore’s Ahead of the Curve and The Complete Photo Guide to Perfect Fitting by Sarah Veblen. I checked them out at my local library before purchasing.
I love your Blanca flight suit! You could also make the D-Ring belt from the Friday Pattern Co Bernadette Skirt pattern.

Thank you! I have made 3 of the Bernadette belt bags that go to the skirt. I could definitely see myself making a cream version. I also like the idea of using a cream colored leather belt if I can find one. Or matching a belt to my shoes for a contrast. So many options. Thanks for commenting! I love recommendations.
That jumpsuit is just so much fun! It is definitely one to brag about being me-made. I usually have to make similar adjustments with Closet Core patterns. I'm going to be trying their Jo Jumpsuit soon, and I'm going to do a full bust adjustment on the muslin. I will probably have to shorten the back bodice, too. I'll be curious to see how your finished Blanca Flight Suit turns out!

First of all, I love your hair. I haven’t tried to make a jumpsuit yet, but I do have the earlier Mimi G jumpsuit pattern, so I may start with that. Your jumpsuit came out very nice, I love the colors.

May I make a suggestion, you might want to do a sway back adjustment and that will eliminate the bunching in the back area.
Yes! I actually just read about this in my new book Fast Fit! I thought that this adjustment was just for bunching under the waistband in pants but it looks like it could fix my back bodice bunching in my jumpsuit. Thank you! I absolutely welcome suggestions like this.
I ordered some of those rulers and really didn't care for them because they weren't hard plastic. They are to bendable for me and seemed flimsy.
That’s really good to know. I received mine last week but haven’t used them yet. If I really enjoy pattern making I will invest in better quality rulers.

I loveyour Frieda Khalo hairdo. There are 2 other stores like that Oakland store in the bay area. There is one in the city and one in Berkeley on San Pablo Ave. they are hit or miss…sometimes good stuff and sometimes not.
