One train was destroyed by polish truck driver who stopped between barriers on a crossing, I think 3 people died and the train driver lost his legs. Otherwise, it is very nice after the interior remodel. Even before it was nice. I like how it leans to curves. I have traveled with it many thousand km between Prague and Ostrava. Before the remodel, they changed one of them into silent section, but second class. If you knew, you could ride the first class coach with bigger seats, but with a second class ticket,
When the Pendolinos were first delivered to Finland they (perhaps "it" because there might have been just one train to start with) were configured with 2+1 seating in both first class and second class, just with slightly more leg room in first class. Later trains had 2+2 in second class and the original coaches were also reconfigured to have 2+2 in second class.

Spent about a week in Czechia last October. Brno and then Prague. Can't really remember much about the trains, pretty standard were the ones I went on. Guards were all friendly. Probably I am among the very few of those who have been to Slovakia but not Czech Republic 😂 I would love to do this train though. Probably get off somewhere along the middle and spend a few days, and taking the same train and eventually go to Košice (which I love so much)
There are two more historical things you could have mentioned about the Prague main station. There is a bust in the concourse about the original name of the station. Back in the days of the First republic, Prague main station was called Prague Wilson station (yep. Woodrow Wilson). The other thing you could have checked out, is memorial to survivors of Holocaust and their savior, sir Nicholas Winton on the first platform, down in direction Dobříš (I believe that's south). Next time, you'll show up around, take a classic old school fast trains. I actually think them superior, even if run down.
Well, I have actually been to Olomouc and I'd recommend it any time. Didn't spend too much time there though as it was a concert tour with the Leipzig (Germany) University Choir. But what I saw of the city was pretty nice. The high point was our concert in the cathedral. Now I'm not a religious person in any way but somehow this cathedral and the music we were singing and the catholic mass that was going on created a quite impressive spiritual atmosphere I hadn't experienced before or since.
If you point out shops in the train station, it would always be good to give a sense of price. Same price as elsewhere? 10% more? 100% more? 1000% more? This would help us make decisions about where and how to shop for snacks and souvenirs.

Nice video, my home country, yay! Pendolinos will be around for a long long time. They are equipping them with an ETCS for a crazy amount of money right now so I bet that they will use them to their full potential as airlines use their planes. In Czechia I recommend to visit the Plum railway. It connects Litomerice (very nice town) with Most (perhaps the ugliest city there is) and it´s ran by an operator AZD, which is a major supplier of railway technologies and security devices and they run their own trains on their own railway line equipped with the latest technologies between these two cities under a public obligation. So it´s very bizzare that a private company can run their private trains for a public money and use the railway as a showroom for their products. Also there is a catering onboard during weekends in these tiny DMUs and a free hot drink or a plum brandy included in the ticket price which is like 2 Euros. The railway also runs through a pretty valley of Central Highlands. And for train enthusiasists there are connecting Interjets trains at Most, bizzare old DMUs to Pilsen and the infamous CRRC Sirius sets at the other side at Litomerice.
You had a good taste with trains. You must be a railfan. Anyways, if you made a slip by recording the windows, who knows you might show a reflection of yourself.😅
I believe its 6 operational, 7th car was decomissioned only 5 cars of the 7th car are operational. Pendolino as Supercity or category of its own seems to be immune to "Najbrt" or ČD corporate design.
Some of the information is really quite misleading... There is no "free food". You get a bottle of water and "free on-seat delivery". The food isn't expensive per se, and is quite good, but it definitely isn't complimentary. The track speed anywhere within the country is limited at 160km/h, so the 200km design speed is just a dream. The Pendolino is a nice train, but it tends to be a lot more expensive than other trains on the same route, and it is only some 20 minutes faster.
Is it an idea actually to ask with trainrides like this one if the coffee cart also offers usb cable's/bricks? Knowing technoligy has come quite far thus i feel like in this time we live in it should be asked at least i would give it perhaps a decade(maybe more) before i feel like it should be a normal thing for these things to be at least cheap ones to be available. Knowing smartphones are common already thus i feel like it should become a thing in the future..
There is no standardized European plug. In the video you see the type E (F/CZ/B/SK/PL). As German/Austrian you will have the type F at home. Both are very compatible. Plugs for E+F are made nowadays as „type E+F“ to work universally. This is the most common type in Europe. There is also a Europlug or „type c“, the slim one you will know from your phone charger. It doesn’t have the earthing (Schutzleiter) and is only for lower energy appliances.
This video reminds me why I like Kuga and “Simply” so much: NO idiot music, NO talking and JUST text plus video. You really have terrible taste in “music”: so annoying and unnecessary that it ruins what you are trying to do. Emulate those who are more successful. This was unwatchable.
Praha smrdí víc než Lagos a Conakry dohromady. Jo a ty Pardubice - Kuňka, reálně? To je ta nejzajímavější věc v okolí? I to funkcionalistický nádraží je víc cool než nějakej smradlavej hrad. Aside from that a high quality video.
Day by day decline?? We, the Czech republic, have grown from 9,7 million in 1998 to almost 11 million in 2024... And we have the highest birth rate in the EU, 1,72 kids per woman.. There are countries suffering from population decline, but certainly not the Czech republic..
@@viktornovomestsky3999 That is the other point that I forgot to make, the Czech Republic is not declining in overall population (entierly thanks to immigration but that doenst make youre argument not correct). Some countris like bulgaria, Moldova and a few more bolkan nations of which I dont know the statistics are dropping population (in the case of Bulgaria its been bleeding people since the revolution (early 90s i think)). So generalizing from a small-ish number of shrinking nations to the whole of europe is something i would no deem correct (like anyone cars what I think lol).
That's great to hear, and thanks for the information 😊
It would be interesting if you came to Croatia to make your review of KONČAR EMU/DMU trains that are produced domestically.
I've just been 👀
@@NonstopEurotrip and first impressions are?
Welcome to Czech Republic :-D I was first time in London on Friday :-) Excellent. And my favourite is Uber Boat :-)
Thank you! Unfortunately I've already left again 😞
How do you translate to this many languages? And how so effortlessly done?
I have a guy that does it 😆
You had a good taste with trains. You must be a railfan.
Anyways, if you made a slip by recording the windows, who knows you might show a reflection of yourself.😅
Face reveal 😂
Great trip. Definitely great onboard service for first class passengers, the seating is okay, but the legroom looks cramped
Yes, you are right 👍🏻
Excellent train..if modified a little bit...best suited for Indian Railway Network also...Great journey...👍👍👍....Keep it up
Thanks a lot 😊
Enjoy your holiday!
Thank you! 🙏🏻
Fun fact: Because there are 7 pendolinos, they have names after snow-whites dwarfs
Haha interesting 😄
I thought that at some point, you would say "Guys, I don't mean to Prague, but look what I did..." haha
😂😂😂
Bom dia boa viagem trem lindo boa sexta
I believe its 6 operational, 7th car was decomissioned only 5 cars of the 7th car are operational.
Pendolino as Supercity or category of its own seems to be immune to "Najbrt" or ČD corporate design.
The Czech Republic has the densest railway network in the EU.
Je to tak, sme prostě moc dobrý.
Ale ne tak jako švícařy actually. (z evropskýho (velký e?) ne EU pohledu)
Actually, it's the Netherlands
@@NonstopEurotrip Czech republic 9446 km. Netherlands 2900 km.
@@alesanrud3281 that's the longest,.not the densest
@@NonstopEurotrip Its Switzerland ACTUALLY. (Europe not EU but it aint the Netherlands either)
It IS complimentary in first class, as stated in the video.
Does standard class have a buffet as you advised to stock up on food and drink
Yes, the menu is linked in the description.
That was awesome 👍.
Thanks 👍
Can you please do a review on Shinkansen bullet trains? And/or ScotRail class 380, I suggest going to Largs it’s a lovely seaside town
Shinkansen already done 👍🏻
@@NonstopEurotrip okay, I’ll check that video out
Is it an idea actually to ask with trainrides like this one if the coffee cart also offers usb cable's/bricks?
Knowing technoligy has come quite far thus i feel like in this time we live in it should be asked at least i would give it perhaps a decade(maybe more) before i feel like it should be a normal thing for these things to be at least cheap ones to be available.
Knowing smartphones are common already thus i feel like it should become a thing in the future..
They don't afaik
@@NonstopEurotrip afaik?

It sure is!
Are you the same person that does Superalbs Travels?
Both channels seem very similar, including the narration, language, style etc.
No
old November video that's why's there's snow lol
As mentioned right at the start
Nice enough video, but what was UNIQUE about the 2+1 seating?
Unique is that 2+1 seating is also in second class...
Everything
hehe czeching
Hehe 😅
Come to Canada.
They could dim those harsh bright lights.
Yes they could!
I live in 🇨🇿♥️
Bro, can I make a request? Can you make a video of the journey from Fiumicino aeroporto station to Torino porta nuova station by train?
Maybe one day!
In Poland class ED250.
Different train
Hm the plug doenst look to me like "standard" European. I have way diffrent plugs in my home
Well my standard European adapter worked
You misspelled! The correct word spell is "UNIQUE".
BBC.
kereta argo pendolino ekspres
Leo express is even better.
Could well be 👀
One wheelchair space per whole train is somewhat evil.
Better than none!
Shocking at how there's only 1 wheelchair space for the whole train!
For when the train was built, it's good that there's any;

Why would anyone pay to see someone else travel?
For the same reason that some people pay for watching sports even though they themselves can run, kick a ball or drive a car.
Thanks for watching and supporting the channel by commenting 😄
This video reminds me why I like Kuga and “Simply” so much: NO idiot music, NO talking and JUST text plus video. You really have terrible taste in “music”: so annoying and unnecessary that it ruins what you are trying to do. Emulate those who are more successful. This was unwatchable.
I'm good thanks. It would be boring if everyone was the same. 2000 comments a month and yours is the only one saying this 😁
Praha smrdí víc než Lagos a Conakry dohromady.
Jo a ty Pardubice - Kuňka, reálně? To je ta nejzajímavější věc v okolí? I to funkcionalistický nádraží je víc cool než nějakej smradlavej hrad.
Aside from that a high quality video.
Interesting
@@NonstopEurotrip Ye Prague smells.
I love European country but why there population day by day decline..
Viděls kolik stojí obyvatelnej byt do kterýho se vejde víc než jednolůžková postel?
And yes the language is a joke (in that it isnt english).
Aaaalso i dont wanna come of like some sort of EU lover - this place has A LOT of problems but large scale pop. drop aint one of em.
Not true.
once rode a train and I almost fell when I got off the train
Oh no!!!
