He puts forward all the aspects pertaining to whatever situation he is talking about. He doesn't apportion blame, he talks about ways to move forward and resolve issues - and that's for all of life, not just for a few.

A lot of initiatives are already underway in promoting organic farming and that is what will regenerate the soil. But was Norman Borlaugh wrong when he brought about the green revolution in so many parts of the world including India in the 1960's and 70's. Their is another great and legendary scientist living in the same part of Southern India as Sadhguru. We call him M.S. Swaminathan. He was a part of the Norman Borlaugh team. He is now ripe old at 97. Their should be an interaction between Sadhguru and him on a public platform.

Why cant the whole India go for Sanskrit than talking about Hindi which is after all 120 to 130 yrs old ? The whole India finds a common thread due to Sanskrit. Let politicians have guts to introduce Sanskrit in main stream education giving around 30 yrs before adopting Sanskrit as a common language. Do politicians have any will and courage to implement Sanskrit rather than playing politics with Hindi ??

🇮🇳🕉👏🏼👏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼💐💐🪷‼️ There should be movies made of Aurangzeb and Tippu ! Why only Akbar? Secularism has to beat the fanaticism that prevails in predatory belief systems! Family is the core of any stable society! Never allow the family and it’s structure and value diminish in the argument of modernism! India’s long standing socio cultural stability happened on account of the strong sense of family and the inherent values that come with it! The young and the old are taken care in the family , not in institutions although such tendencies are encroaching into the society lately! Predatory religions are to be treated as termites that eat the foundation of our homes! Warding off these Adharmic lot is the Dharmic duty of all!

Unfortunately when they (i.e Bollywood) make movies on these guys they will end up glorifying them. In Kerala, an ex-muslim director wants to make a movie on the truth of Moplah Hindu genocide but the state censor board is not permitting the release of the movie. Our own institutions are under the lap of "leftists, pseudo-seculars and political correctness gang" so it is impossible to make movies that reveal the truth of these barbarians (like Tipu or Aurangzeb). When we cannot even change our school history books to reveal the truth of what happened in Mughal times then making a movie on the topic is as much a challenge. There is an entire leftist ecosystem that defends the wrongs of the past so until that ecosystem is dismantled or rendered powerless the truth cannot come out. The non-left politicians in India are still busy playing the game of "Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas".

It seems we haven't seen the full picture in correct perspective, still we see this problem in an India centric view. It all started thousands of years ago in europe, Mesopotamia, persia, arabia, egypt, africa, america etc when certain skewed theologies, and ideologies evolved which are exclusive and thinks only our way is the right one and all should follow it ,else will be tortured to submission, exciled, killed and what not. If we don't realise this we are simply defending our fort losing many and eventually the last one will also fall. Think globally vasudaiva kudumbakam.
And it's not a mediaeval madness it's still happening all around us even in twenty first century
Let all decimated gods and goddesses of zoraztrian, kemets, yazidis, incas, mayans,so called pagans rise again let the world be plural again. Not tolerance but acceptance and respect be our motto

I agree with most of Sadguru’s positions in the political spectrum. english language must be replaced with an indigenous language. Majority understands, speaks and write Hindi. He loves Bharat Hindustan but when it comes to language he exposes himself to be of a colonial mindset. Because he doesn’t mind communicating in English but doesn’t agree with Hindi as a national language for the sake of commercial education and general conversational language to connect all regions of Bharat. No one is forcing to give up their regional language and mother tongue.

@@onlytruth308 Their only logic is that because nearly 50% of India's population understands Hindi so Hindi should be made the national language. That herd mentality.. They are not able to comprehend that it was to preserve all the languages of India that the provinces or states were formed on the basis of language. So I Karnataka official language wlll be Kannada, Tamil in Tamilnadu, Malayalam in Kerala, Marathi in Maharashtra and so on. In the northern part of India there are various languages or dialects spoken apart from Hindi, like Pahadi, Mythi, Magadh, Awadhi, Kumaoi etc.,. Most of these languages/dialects are driven to the point of extinction because of excessive use of Hindi. In Mumbai and Pune (Maharastra state) percentage of speaking Hindi is more than percentage of speaking Marathi which is the official language of Maharashtra. This will never bother @Ajay Moudgil. But he will definitely have an issue with English which is the business language of the world. Nearly 100 countries of the world use English in one form or the others.

First, please clean your Hindi from the influence of Urdu, especially in Bollywood. Then you can preach to us Southerners about making Hindi the national language. I believe in the unity of Bharat and believe in its syncretic culture but whenever I listen to Hindi-belt supremacists like you I realise why certain southern states wanted a separate nation (eg Tamil Nadu). Tamil is a much older language than Hindi and has less corruption from outsiders (invaders) - so why don't you make an effort to learn Tamil or any southern language while I (as a southerner) already made an effort to learn Hindi (not to please you). Had you said we should make Sanskrit our national language I would've at least found it worth my time because there is "some" logic to it (even if it is impractical), but instead you people want to impose something on us just because you are comfortable using it. It is people like you who will end up driving a wedge between the unity of our country.

    • @RaviKumar-ii6cb
      @RaviKumar-ii6cb ปีที่แล้ว +2

@@jitinsharma8902 I think this link language issue has been taken care of in the Indian constitution. Sec 343 1A states that Hindi will be the official language of India and Sec 353 1 B states that along with Hindi English also would be the official language of India. The jargon official is used here. But the Sec 343 fundamentally deals with link languages. So Hindi and English both are the link languages to communicate between different states and union territories of India. It is not compulsory to know both but higly advantageous. Anyone should be known for the communication. So Northern and Western India uses Hindi and Southern Indian and North Eastern India (namely Assam, Nagaland, Tripura, Arunachal Pradesh, Sikkim) uses English. Not sure about West Bengal and Orissa. And now a days with the help of technology we can easily translate any language to the language of our choice. Just to remind @Ajay Moudgil the lead person in this thread there is no national language in this country according to the constitution of India. End of the story.

I generally like Sadguru, but totally disagree on the language aspect. In the name of treating all Bharatiya languages same, we continue to use the colonial language as the common and binding language.
I am not saying it has to be Hindi... make Sanskrit as the national language.. make some other Bharatiya language as national language.
Almost everyone now knows English and their own mother tongue. Did English displace the mother tongue?...Very sad.
And yes, i am sad that i also am currently using the colonial language to express my current idea.

I am from Kerala and I will be very happy if Sanskrit is the link language because Sanskrit has to be revived for us Hindus to know our very truth because all our original scriptures are in Sanskrit. After I secure a good career I am planning to learn Sanskrit from my cousin. But in Kerala including me many people are studying in English medium schools from 1 std onwards because of which we prefer to read English novels over Malayalam and therefore many of my friends including me are not comfortable in writing and reading our mother language. Those people who study in Malayalam medium becomes so ashamed that they can't speak English properly.

I am ashamed that I did not learn Sanskrit when I was young (I regret it now as I have an interest in Vedic scripture). Also the Hindi that is used in some parts of the north needs to cleanse itself from the Urdu influence before one can say that Hindi is a pure Indian language.
In Israel, they revived a dead language (Hebrew) and made it their national language. It took a lot of political struggle to make that happen but Israel is a tiny country compared to something as large, as complex and as diverse as Bharat. Sanskrit is still alive but its life is tied to other languages in India which have many Sanskrit words mixed in it (I am from Tamil Nadu and I consistently see common people using few Sanskrit words within Tamil language without knowing that they are actually using Sanskrit words).
Our country is so diverse and rich in its diversity so finding a common tongue is difficult and getting people to understand the usefulness of a link language is also difficult because of the politics attached to it. People today are so divided along regional lines, caste lines, religious lines, lingual lines and colonial propagandas. In South there are people who believe in Aryan-Dravidian theories of division. So it becomes impossible (in the present toxic climate) to create unity through a single link language. But I agree we should find a common Indian language (which is not English) for us to communicate with each other.
I think the best solution is to learn three languages - one's mother tongue should be given first importance, then learn English (for communicating with the rest of the world) and also learn one other Indian language of your choice. If we all do this then slowly, with time, we can break the language barriers that exist at present and we can slowly move towards creating unity in the country. We also should respect the diverse languages that exist and not try to bury them under the imposition of a dominant language. Pakistan lost East Pakistan (Bangladesh) for the main reason that it tried to impose Urdu as the national language on its population. People in the North of India will end up pushing the South away if they tried to impose Hindi. So one needs to be sensitive when dealing with this subject.

English is an international language. It doesn’t Matter that it is colonial. You gain a massive advantage by learning it in terms of communication ,trade and knowledge.

How will any wounds of Hindus be resolved when today's Muslim clerics and intellectuals belive that invaders like Aurangzeb are their idols and still worship them?!
And isn't it true that when forcefully converted Kashmirs met Raja and intended to come back to Sanatan, did Kashmiri Pandits opposed it?

Lol. So suppose if you are a tamilian and not a Hindi speaking person, does it mean the Tamil language has no significance? How ridiculous is that . All Sadhguru is saying , Hindi should not be defined as national language , because all types of languages in india are equally valuable and important. This means everyone is equal . The only problem is you have a discriminatory mind because you want to define on every aspect lol. That is stupid. Everything is equally valuable and undefined. That is the nature of life and the creation itself. Even if you don't understand this , atleast just respect that.

@@subhasishbanerjee2978 all I'm saying is that no language should be defined as a "national language" . This is dirty . You should never label anything. You can definitely educate people in many languages, but all I'm saying is it's allright if not everyone knows Hindi. Even today , there are translations which can help all to understand things when topics become global to reach people. But "labelling or putting definations" to any aspect of life is stupid. It should rather be embraced and accepted as valuable. Or in other words, every aspect of life should never be discriminatory, but total embrace . As a so called educated person, you should have understood this, but unfortunately you don't. This shows , today's educated people are just about information, not about "being human". Very unfortunate. Very very shameful.
