Couldn't agree more!! A rider who actually KNOWS what parts he's running AND why also! I do respect that quite a lot of Pro's doing bike checks recently actually know what parts are on their bikes but there's still very little of WHY I chose to run my bike this way! Mainly because they just picked the parts off a shelf or catalogue & were given/sent them. Even when a Pro can say "This is Freecoaster X & the only reason I'm running it is that it's a new design & I fancied trying it as it's different to the model beforehand" that's an actual insight into why they run their bike a certain way! Bike Nerds need to be nerding!! There's plenty of people that don't care & will watch a bike check because it's their favourite rider etc. But their are TONS of us who want a bit more insight!

Love those RNC Cranks, I'd love to save up for a set but I'm veeeeeery cautious due to a whole bunch of bad stories & not all Internet drama shit either a couple of good friends have had stupidly long waits to hear from Ryan, have had some pretty rude responses when just trying to find out when their cranks are being shipped etc & as I live in England? Don't really wanna have to deal with any issues! I think a lot of the issues I've seen mentioned could be pretty easily sorted if Ryan hired a PR/Customer Services/Shipping Person & he could concentrate on the bit he actually likes doing haha. Gotta say too, if I was gunna get a Freecoaster again, 1. The Planetary design would be top of the list & 2. I'd almost certainly get the Venus Hub! The Hubshell looks incredible, it comes Polished, Hub Guards, etc. Definitely a beaut!
It definitely makes sense for people who like to slam their wheel. Easier to get the wheel off when you don’t have to go crazy getting the chain off then putting it back on when done
@@Brant_Moore heck yeah I wish I would have bought one when they made them still but they were always Ugly to me and I always have ran shadow chains ⛓ I love Bmx and the variety of freestyle parts so everybody can make their bikes unique in their own way and we all just keep riding ❤️🇺🇸
Hmm I never heard of it, it was a special version of the Allen key gtx-r? I got a 6061 GTX-s now but my GTX-r is def 7075 , surely there must be something on the internet of a chromoly gyro, that seems crazy and super expensive/heavy , and I'm gonna guess your misremembering but I could be wrong.... Just imagining a machined chromoly gyro sounds like a 200$+ part easy

Do you run your wheel slammed in the back?
Nah, I like to be able to have control over the tension of my chain which is something you don't always get when slamming the back wheel
