How long did it take for you to teach him how to talk?? I’ve had Zuri just over a month now
I hand raised my blue baby he started mimicking when he was 7 to 8 weeks old and started talking when he was 11 weeks old..
You can check his previous videos 😊

Is it normal for the bird to think that the bird he sees in the mirror is another bird please reply
Mirrors are one of the most misunderstood of the bird toy category. For years, many pet owners have been told that birds should not get a mirror or they will become un-tame. This is simply not true.
It really depends on how your bird reacts to the mirror. Many birds love interacting with the bird in the mirror, especially budgies and cockatiels. Some birds will react aggressively to the strange bird, in which case you do not want to leave the mirror in the cage. It will only stress the bird.so It's up to you and your bird.
🎶🎶🩵💛👍😄🌟
does this work for parakeets (budgies) too?
You can try because budgie Parakeets are able to talk using words that they've heard. Some have been known to learn hundreds of words .They don't speak as clearly as larger birds like Macaws. With some patience, it can be fun to teach your pet parakeet to talk.
mine does not talk like this. she can say a few words, but only says them while we are taking a shower together, or when I am not home (captured on video)
Yes, some parrots do not talk in front of the owner 😍😊
Every afew minutes my baby bird gets up exited and a commercial comes on please don’t have so many commercials.
Oops, sorry 😞 for the inconvenience💓
Please support my birds to watch with adverts .

So my question is, I inherited a quaker that was very neglected in my opinion, really only saw people the last probably eight years of its life of 10 years when he was being fed or covered… So I’m trying to give him a much more enriched life and would like to bond with him. Is it too late to get him to talk?
Quaker Parrots are never too old to learn tricks and talking
Repetition is key to getting your bird to say a specific word. The more you speak it around the bird, the more likely it is to say it back to you.
Just be patient and give him time and care.
Good luck.
@@BirdsTV4U he is at least 10 years old and in my opinion was truly terribly neglected, except for being fed and covered/uncovered. I don’t think he got any real interaction other than maybe the first year or two… I inherited him and he is now where he is never alone for very long and I put them in a bigger cage, but the previous owners traumatised him by going in and snatching him and grabbing him not giving him really much of a choice if he was ever taken out so he’s now very caged territorial and I’m trying to bond, well, trying to earn his trust so that I can bond with him if there’s any adviceafter it’s being so long, I would be ever so grateful… Thank you in advance
@stlrfn437 my advice is just to be patient 😌 .I'm glad you are giving him a better life. I hope he will be bonded with you soon 💙👈
@@stlrfn437 time, patience, consistency. do not be reactive to the bird, or it will just make it feel it cannot trust you like previous owners. you have to just keep showing that you are worthy of its trust. it *will* come around, because it wants to. if you leave the cage door open when you are home, it might start coming onto the door opening, sitting and getting a better look around. once if feels safe there, it will climb onto the cage. once it feels safe there, it will fly across the room to look for you (maybe). quakers are kind of couch potatoes; they like to find their comfort spot, and like to just stick it out.
How do u take it ? Give me ideas that work???
Worked 💪
