    While camping, we set up our makeshift bathroom, complete with a bucket shower for a quick rinse after a day outdoors.
    My childhood memories include summer vacations where we’d take bucket showers to cool off from the heat, laughing and splashing water everywhere.

    "You never let us down." Wonderful live video.I found this topic simple, but it's extremely useful in every day situation. You're doing a good job once again. I always admire and appreciate your work ethic ever. It's quite applaudable, in my opinion. Well done! Thanks a lot. I look forward to the next lesson.

    With a water scoop, I was able to gather enough water for my tomatoe plants. I found an old water scoop in the shed, perfect for our camping trip. She used the water dipper to splash cool water on her face. We took turns using the water dipper to hydrate our plants during the drought.The water dipper made it easy to share water among the thirsty hikers.

    She enjoyed rinsing the dishes in warm water before washing them. Her beloved mother gave her this excellent and practical advice. She told her that if she did not do this in time, the leftovers would dry on the dishes. So, in the evening with joy and in the morning with nails, because if you let the leftovers on the dishes dry, you will have to scrach them with your nails the next day.She rememberd this great lesson.

    Before leaving for work, I wash my body. After getting home from work, I take a refreshing shower. During the summer, I take several showers per day. I usually take more showers during the summer.
    When we were children, we used to bathe twice a day.

    When we were children, my mother would fill an old aluminium bathtub with water and place it in the sun, where it would warm up after a while. After a long day of playing, we could take a bath in the warm water. Those were wonderful days.
    After the nicely old days, the aluminum tub was turned into a duck float.

      Very good, but "after the nicely days" does not work. "Nicely" is an adverb, not an adjective.
      You could say "After the good old days..."

    Hello teacher Mike. I have one question from this lesson that I'm desperate to know. I noticed in the video you said that "Many people bathe one to two times per day." However what I learned in the text book, they would say "Many people bathe once or twice a day." So I wonder if they both are correct and can be used interchangeably or just one of them is more common than the other. Hope you can take some time to reply to my question. Have a good day and thank you so much for your lessons every day.

    Thanks for this class, Mike! I didn’t know that the verb BATHE was so general …so if I’m at the beach I can say: “let’s bathe !” , right ? Also, I once heard that the verb: sunbathe is not generally used in the USA…is this so? Saying: sit in the sun, lie in the sun or lie on the beach are commonly used ? A bucket and scooping water plus the name a bucket shower are new words for me …that’s what many people do in Venezuela due to the annoying water shortages. Finally, is it all right to say one or two times a day? I thought once/twice were generally the ones used.

    • @TeacherMikeEnglish
      @TeacherMikeEnglish  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      If your goal is to get sunlight on your skin, then it's perfectly normal to use "sunbathe". You could not use just "bathe" in that context.
      And it's fine to say "one time" or "two times" instead of "once" or "twice", but "once" and "twice" are more common.

    • @TeacherMikeEnglish

      I guess you can if you want to, but scoops/dippers are not commonly used in English speaking countries, so most people probably wouldn't immediately know what you are talking about, whereas the term "bucket shower" is commonly understood.
