Just got my delivered from Amazon for $79.99. The unit actually comes with one small bottle of Dirt Devil Cleaning Solution, enough to fill the cleaning reservoir 4 times. I too, was amazingly surprised at the cleaning capacity on a couch and recliner. Thanks for the review. It helped me make my decision to purchase the Dirt Devil brand.
I clean houses for a living and my husband just bought this for me for Christmas!! My cat left me some Hershey’s syrup on my carpet today, so I’m glad I got this early! Thanks
Thank you for all of your helpful videos. I would love to try this for my mother's carpet and vehicle, but considering how old the stains are I'm curious how well this Dirt Devil can remove them.
To mitigate for the dirty water container lid being loose, I attached a large, thick rubber band around the lid bottom to help make a seal, this worked very well! Still deciding it I'll keep the unit as it has a very wide spray path and my unit did not come with all the brush attachments. It left a darker patch on my cream carpet than the original stain. Possibly I did not use enough cleaner, as I didn't see any liquid pull into the dirty water tank. I will give it few more tries before I decide whether to keep it. Any suggestions on how to use it more effectively would be appreciated.

I am thinking of this one and/or the Bissell proheat 2513w... 2 things on this one I wasn't liking... it seems a little topsy tipsy.. and that lid on the dirty water doesnt look tight at all .. if that tips over, then it would be a real mess... I wasn't liking the handle... again something that moves could break down the road... the only thing I really loved was the hose cleaner, the power it seemed to have and cleaning of the dirty water side... My concern with Bissell will be that dirty water side... mold etc... Again thank you :) Good video
The black top should have been improved they should have included push release mines was easy to spill and my sprayer stop functioning properly it wouldn't stop sprayer I returned it 😞 I went with Hoover
MY cleaner only has one detachable brush the rubber one,didn't come with the bristle brush that snaps on & off?Even going to Dirt Devil web site they don't sell that brush?
Don't buy this. this is garbage . unless you want to refill every 3 to 5 minutes. watch how fast the water level goes down on the video. and doesnt do very well sucking the water. just bought one and going to return tomorrow.

I can't get the suction cup off the hose?
Bought one yesterday. Returning tomorrow. Can’t remove head to clean.
I have this model,one tool I press a button to remove, the other tool has no button to press,have to use a butter knive to remove tool from hose.

We had a situation where the Dirt Devil fell over and all the “dirty” water spilled out.

The dirty water is not going in the tank it's going under it,and I never got 2 brushes

Well, its a spot cleaner after all. I'd say its perfect for small jobs like cleaning the carpets in my car even if it takes a couple of reloads.
