Pokemon Channel is like the ultimate stress reliever game for me when I was younger. It's just a game to relax to and you can just go at your own pace. I feel like it's never really meant to be taken seriously especially with Colosseum and Gale of Darkness being games on the same system.

Amazing Island is a good time and not only is it fun to just make monsters but it's got strong replayability. Clearing the minigames and courses multiple times and with higher scores to unlock more options when making monsters is fun. There was a card minigame tied to the GBA Link Cable that was okay and the minigames were mostly enjoyable. Though the final boss minigame is so stupidly hard I STILL haven't beaten it 20 years later.
That thing had no business being that tough. I Finished that game twice and still don't know why it was on such a different level than everything else.
I love this game so much. I agree with all that. I didn't have an issue with the last boss when I was a kid but playing it now is lol I feel like I was better at games back them

The only game I played on this list was Magical Mirror and to this day I enjoy replaying it. it really helps me relax with the colorful world and whimsical music just like Disney should be instead of the garbage they have been pumping out the past few years. hears hoping Kingdom Hearts 4 doesn't meet the same fate because that is my all time favorite series

In terms of GameCube exclusives, that Universal Studios game deserves a mention. Might even be the worst game to feature E.T. now that i think about it. (Yeah i went there)
At least ET 2600 didn't require players to go around collecting trash in order to "earn" the part people bought the game for in the first place.

Even games like Magical Mirror were genuinely fun. Most of the Capcom Disney games were really fun times for children. Maybe I'm biased because it was one of my first GameCube games.
I never actually got to play hide and sneak. I really wanted to though.

Only reason I played the Pokemon Channel was cuz I enjoyed Hey You Pikachu on the N64. Seeing Pikachu booty bumping while exercising with Smoochums always made me laugh
I adore Pokemon channel! Id play it fir hours! Its more about collecting the cards and various cosmetics for your virtual room. Channels music was so amusing. I love Smoochums work out theme 😂
I must disagree with Pokemon Channel being on the list. I don't listen to critics and neither do my parents. I never give a bad review to any Pokemon game. I played Magical Mirror and it was pretty funny. Also, Universal Studios Theme Parks Adventure should have been on the list. The title is confusing for American players. It should have been called Universal Studios Japan Adventure because it was set in Universal Studios Japan.
Honestly I quite enjoyed Yugioh and the Falsebound Kingdom. Sure it wasn't an actual card game but I did like the RPG strategies. Heck I wanted a sequel to this game.
I kind of dug Pokémon Channel at the time, for what it was-it felt like just kind of hanging out with a Pikachu, except without the voice commands that the game could never really recognize like in Hey You, Pikachu.
Though when the microphone was working well, I did enjoy the content of Hey You, Pikachu! a lot more. And it had such a thick air of atmosphere with its music and wholesomeness.
As someone who didn't grow up with Pokemon Channel and just played it recently, I actually enjoy it. It is a fun and relaxing game that doesn't need a story mode or in depth game mechanics to be enjoyable.

Ay, Falsebound Kingdom was 🔥 easily one of the best YGO games that isn’t your normal card game its up there with Duelist of the Roses and Capsule Monster Coliseum, we definitely need a new YGO turn based RPG game, and you got it wrong pal probably most of us YGO fans love that game and wish there were more like it.

I actually like Pokemon Channel. Played it on GameCube a lot. From the Pichu Bros Party Panic anime to having a virtual Pokemon Mini were just a few of the things you can do on this game, not to mention the three areas you can visit with Pikachu, from Veridian Forest, Cobalt Coast to Mt. Snowfall. I also liked buying things on Shop N' Squirtle and growing different colored berries for Pikachu and various other Pokemon to have. It definitely wasn't a bad game to me.

Surprised not to see Universal Theme Park Adventures on here. Never played it but am a huge fan of the park, and that game turned an exciting experience into a massive slog!

Ah, yes, Disney's Magical Mirror starring Mickey Mouse. I remember owning that game. It was fine enough. It was certainly no Epic Mickey but it least, at the time, it gave me an excuse to spend some gaming time with my favorite mouse.

I enjoyed "Pokémon Channel" a lot. Coloring in the "Smeargle 2" was stress-relieving, among other things taht game offers.
My brother completed "Yu-Gi-Oh! The Falsebound Kingdom" thrice, 100%. It's one of his favorite games. Yeah, maybe aniem and TCG fans may feel awkward with it's mechanics, but has banger music and much charm.

I spent soooooooo many days playing Yu-gi-oh The Falsebound Kingdom after school. That game was my jam!
I used to play Amazing Island an insane amount too. Definitely miss that one.

Amazing Island and Pokemon Channel were the 2 games I played on this list. Amazing Island was fun for a while until I ran into a glitch in the game. The statue head matching game is where you have to match the heads on one side to the other. Well as I get to the last head it doesn't match with any heads at all, the glitch has prevented me from winning the mini game so many times I threw it in the trash.
Also the Pokemon Channel game wasn't entirely bad per-say but I think its saving grace was the mini anime cartoon special it came with it

I remember really liking Yu-Gi-Oh Falsebound Kingdom.
I actually like Pokémon Channel. Yes, it's a bit boring at times, and I really don't like the fact that they use some of the Pokémon models from Pokémon Stadium. But other than that, it's a really good game. I personally like the Pichu Brothers Anime that they have. I also like some of the mini-games, especially the Games for Pokémon Mini. I also like The Shopping Channel. You get to buy a lot of cool stuff, like Pokemon plushies and posters to decorate your room with, passes that unlock other areas in the game, trading card packs, games for your Pokémon Mini and even TV sets. All in all, I think it's a good game.
As for Scream Arena, it's a good game to play with friends. They have different types of modes to play and different types of balls to use against your opponents.

It did have a dance dance revolution game. Well I more of a Mario game then ddr it still good however

The only two games I remember playing on this list are Monsters Inc. Scream Arena and Magical Mirror. Me and my brother played Scream Arena at our friend's house and honestly, I think the one thing I enjoyed most from there is the ball that turns other players into balls as well. As for Magical Mirror, I get that its gameplay may be really simple but I enjoyed the music, child appeal and exploring the mansion and seeing all the mischief the ghost can make.

They ripped off another Nintendo property, which ALSO had a gamecube game.
Custom Robo. You fight using "toy" robots in various different stages, across a map, with both story and multiplayer modes. Its literally the exact same game, except one was an established property.
And we haven't seen another custom robo since The gamecube either.
@@elizabethrowlett3110 the combat was pretty fun and different and the maps were way different because you’re toys lol, and there were like 100 different robots you could use instead of customizing yours it felt like a way different game.
They should definitely make a new Custom Robo though game was really fun too.
If Amazing Island was more of an RPG that was executed well like others with monster party members, it would have pan out better.
7:07 I remember playing that in the waiting room at the children dentist, besides those toys you might have seen in waiting rooms. This one I'm talking about does, or did, I don't know if it has that room setup anymore.
Gotcha Force? Hell no. It's "Virtua On at home" and it's wacky toy-playing fun. You don't actually customize the robots, sadly, but you build teams of said toys that tag in consecutively. And it has bad english voice-acting too, making it more hilarious

I'm honestly surprised that Pokémon Box wasn't on here in Channel's place.
Box was mostly a storage system & only useful for those with Ruby and Sapphire (at the time). That was it. There was also the Jirachi disc, but that's not much else. Not really a game, unlike Channel, which does have some semblance of a game in it.
Also the rarest and most valuable GameCube, Pokémon and, arguably, video games in general due to its peculiar exclusivity.
If anyone still owns that game, the most appealing aspect of it is that you have a holy grail of a game in terms of value alone.
Man falsebound kingdom was one of the goats for gamecube probably one of the games ive replayed the most to.
If these are the worst GameCube games, then the GameCube really was a golden age of gaming.

I don’t know why Monsters INC gets a bad wrap. I thought it was such a classic and loved playing it as a kid with friends. It was my first GameCube game. If anything, the Top Gun game should be on on of these lists ( although it might have been on PS2, I don’t remember).
I know it’s not a GameCube exclusive since it released on Xbox, but you should have gotten Nickelodeon Party Blast on this list. It was so bad that it didn’t even release on PS2.
That Gacha Force game looked like a kiddy version of Custom Robo. No wonder it wasn't a must have. Lol😂
I owned and beat Screamarina and Magical Mirror and liked them both (okay, maybe Monsters better). Looking back now, the latter would be better off on PC and moble, and I forgot how wooden and jankey the former's character animation was. But I still love it as a dodgeball game.
Is Scream Arena also on PS2 or is it just GameCube? Because I really want to play it!

Honestly a lot of these games are not that bad. Mediocre at best, but not bad. Most likely Rerez would cover an actually bad GameCube game like "Universal Studios Theme Park Adventure".

Completely agree with Pokémon and Mickey Mouse. I always thought that Mickey Mouse was supposed to be a remake of sorts from his capcom outings, or even the ones in the game boy. There’s a market for this, of course but not for me. Especially as a kid I was obsessed with platforming. We’re just roaming around. Especially since I had Luigi’s mansion on my mind while playing this. Pokémon TV oh my lord. Ridiculous. Just straight up. Ridiculous. No words.
What is kinda facinating is that Big Air Freestyle isn't really an exclusive, instead, it's a debranded and watered down version of MXRider on the PlayStation 2. You got that, a GameCube title with less features than its PlayStation 2 counterpart.
My mom would fight you on the Yu-Gi-Oh! False Bond Kingdom. It's one of her all time favorites.

I loved Yugioh and I couldn’t play Falsebound Kingdom that long as a kid. I got bored after a while. Which sucks. The intro had the Egyptian Gods and looked sweet!
If you enter the Konami Code on any Map screen, the Japanese voice actor of whichever characters story you are playing will shout Yu-Gi-Oh! And you get free money. This was added because they made certain levels almost impossible to beat without it.
The game was genuinely fun, and there are much worse games, but it didn't sell well.
The most notable thing about Big Air freestyle is it have a demo of Godzilla destroy all monsters melee.
Are they trolling us or the gamecube really doesn't have bad games? Because most of these seems enjoyable enough.

Im sad ive never had a GameCube But GameCube games what im interested are Mario Kart double Dash, Pokemon XD gale of darkness and Pokemon Colosseum. Many games from mojoplays ps2 and other lists games Have Been year's 2002 games and i was Born 2002. 🔥🔥
You can play game cube games in the regular Wii you just need a controller and memory card but you can’t on the wiiu which is sad

i loved gotcha force(voice acting could be better) and would replace it with the pokemon rpg's(those ones especially collseum were repetitive/at least thought channel was charming.) or keeping it to capcom megaman network transmission(love the idea but should've happened after the other games came out as it had an unnecessary difficulty spike start.)/re 0.
My favorite movie has always been Monsters Inc. I loved Monsters Inc Scream Arena. I played it when I was around 5 years old and it was one of the only video games I could fully understand. What made it even more fun was that I could play it with my friends and family. If you’re not into super simple games or Monsters Inc then it’s not for you. But if your a huge Monsters fan like myself it’s a cool little game to have.
What makes Magical Mirror for Gamecube even worse is that is was originally gonna be a platform game and was gonna be a true successor to Magical Quest for the SNES.
I've seen the E3 footage of Magical Mirror, and it was a point-and-click game through and through. The "originally being a platformer" was just a rumor.
Besides, Hide and Sneak was pretty much a spiritual successor to Magical Mirror anyways, and that was a stealth-like platformer.
*Batman: Dark Tomorrow* and *Pokémon Channel* are both one of THE Most Disappointed GameCube games I've ever seen from my Childhood Years. They both sucked
In Europe completing Pokémon Channel let you add Jirachi to Ruby/Sapphire and that would even fix a bug with berries growth.
And the Pichu toon wasn't bad
I loved and still love Pokemon channel. Yes it's not a *game* game but it was nice to have something that's rather relaxing. I get why people don't like it but I feel it gets way too much hate. Using the Smeragle to color in pictures and collecting the nice cards I had genuine fun with and most of the channels were also entertaining

No...well, aside from Pokemon Channel, that one is pretty bad, even if I enjoyed it as a kid. I mean, to be fair, Wikipedia only lists 82 GC exclusives, so making a bottom 10 is difficult, especially since most of the notoriously awful titles (Aquaman and Charlie's Angels to name a few) weren't GC exclusive, although I'm genuinely shocked you missed that Universal Studios game. To me, trashing Magical Mirror is wrong, because it sets out to be a fun, imaginative puzzle game for children, and it knocked that out of the park, not enjoying it as an adult is like not enjoying Barney as an adult, it's not meant for you. Also, Falsebound Kingdom's not bad, it's repetitive, and the "just play the card games" point misses the fact that around this time, Konami was making A TON of non-card spinoffs of the series, some beloved (Duelist of the Roses) some...not so beloved (Destiny Board) and FBK's honestly pretty mid-tier.
I guess this list just goes to show that the GameCube didn't really have many "bad" games.
Big Air? Pokémon Channel? Yu-gi-oh? They absolutely do NOT belong on this list!
Honorable mentions:
1. P.N. 03: Decent enough gameplay but no real plot & no character depth.
2. WWE Day of reckoning 2: Granted, WWE's wrestling game on the GC were "hit or miss" but...wow this one was just...flat.

Out of this list, the only games I played were Pokémon Channel (for the Jirachi it offers) and YGO the Falsebound Kingdom.

Call me crazy but I actually loved Amazing Island. The monster creater took felt very ahead of it's time. Admitting the overworld is criminally small (only about 3 outdoor areas if I remember.) So even though you're monsters can follow you it feels like essentially just walking around 3 rooms. Outside of the minigames which to get to you just talk to someone (which felt like a huge waste of potential.)
_Hide-and-Sneak_ has a place in my heart, thanks to Vinny. One word:
